Loren's big thing seems to be the crazy powerful magic sword only she can use and her skill tree that eliminates the dual-wielding penalty.
Hero's mostly for healing. But if you play a thief, you should be kicking your speed up more and thus doing more damage per battle than it looks like you are. Also, it helps if you buy a lot of weapons with different elements and switch them around during battle. There doesn't seem to be an action penalty or any slowdown from faffing about with equipment.
*Edit* Agreed, the dual wield skill is the most powerful I've seen yet. 200% damage with 5 attack speed for a basic attack is brutal. If it stacks with skills, even more so.
Thanks for the tips! ^^ I think my current plans gonna be.. Boost lotsa speed, get lotsa sp-regen items, have mage cast clarity on me, put status effects on enemies, then spam choke 1 on im like no tommorow!! (Only choke 1 for the lowish sp cost and fast attack rate)
Update: I'm starting to finally "assemble" everything. Aleema is writing the various expansion scenes, character quests and (most importantly! ) the romance dialogues with Mesphit/Chambara that so far I've been simply amazing I'm also getting 4 new backgrounds done, you can see a scene from the game below: a pity the image is covered, there's a nice fireplace behind the right vampire, Zachary. But you'll see it in the expansion!
this is how the new camp dialog screen works: once you talk and you obtain a character personal quest, you can click on the top-right scroll icon to show a window listing all the available/not completed quests. So you can do them anytime you want as long as you're in the camp screen.
I've made some custom items when you get the personal quest reward items (not all quests have one). This is Ramas Gemstone Axe, nice to see and also quite powerful...
But what makes it all Ramas's? I mean, you can see how Loren could only possess the Hawk/Ember Blade, because she was chosen, but what makes the axe special to Ramas? Just a question XD
