I don't think Chambara is a bitch to begin with. She may be sassy and a loner, but is that bad? So far she hasn't said anything unnecessarily snappish or mean at all. I've written bitches, and a Chambara ain't one of them.

Hmm I think my English is a problem here because I don't honestly know how you define "a bitch"
Though now that I think better about what she does, and WHY she does it... I agree. She is only acting in self-defense and she actually play an active role in helping finding Karen (not more details otherwise is a spoiler).

While it literally means "female dog," the term b**** is usually used in the American form of English to refer to a woman possessing undesirable qualities, especially some/all of the following: irritable temperamentality, a shrewish, abrasive personality, a need to control and manipulate men, an unpleasant, sadistic streak of evil in her nature, and a predisposition towards sexual looseness and/or nymphomania.

In this case, I use all of the above but the last one to refer to it.

Also, what you say fills me with hope. I like playing "good guy" necromancers, and don't really see why they all have to be evil and amoral.
