The Castle Of N'mar
A free copy to anyone who guess what kind of monsters inhabits the castle! Ok, I was obviously joking it's not that difficult

The Castle Of N'mar is the name of the expansion, which we'll start working on probably this weekend (as I said I want to take things a bit more easier from now on). I don't know yet WHEN will be out, since have also a few more backgrounds to be drawn for the new zones, but should be really out this summer. Once there's all the content I plan to do a beta-testing stage like I did with the main game.
It will add Sauzer the Unarmed Warrior specialist(no romance), Mesphit the Demon (GxB and BxB) and Chambara the Dark Witch (BxG and GxG). You can recruit them anytime starting from chapter2 of the main game, and each one requires you to do a quest to recruit.
We'll also add some more background story and quests for each of the other characters. Similarly to what happens in Planet Stronghold, doing a quest will reward you with a unique item for each character (well, apart Loren since she has already the Ember/Hawke sword).
There will be several new zones with new quests and new monsters to fight. The Castle of N'mar of course, catacombs, dwarf mines and so on. Overall I think will be well worth the cheap $9.99 price

Yes well, wasn't that difficult... people with long nails and dressed with gothic clothes, living in a dark castle on the sea...

I'm super excited for this. More background for existing party members plus new party members, plus whole new questing areas? Yes please! This is really going to be quite the expansion. :D And yay for new sprites of some pretty awesome looking new enemies.

Already like the sound of this expansion, and I haven't even finished the original game. Good luck with the project and I look forward to seeing the finished effort!

Great news! I've held back from buying the game because I wanted to play the game together with the expansion in one go!

"Coming this summer" -> Before August end,right?

Well yes I think before August end! The good news is that now the engine is tested so the main effort is in writing and me scripting all the battles, and of course testing. But should be a faster process than making the main game. Remember that we need a break too though

YAY!!! I'm excited! Taking a break from playing the game, even though I've not seen all the new bits yet... that way I'll have forgotten bits of it by the time the expansion comes out and playing it altogether will be pure joy!!!!

Yeah I am gushing, but in all seriousness it looks like a very ambitious expansion. Don't kill yourself over it Jack!

Well, to be fair the biggest task for the expansion rest on Aleema's shoulders since writing will probably take the most time of expansion development. But I know she's up to the task, even if we will take things easier

Great news, it looks like the expansion will be more involved than I expected, and now that Chambara will be available, I can make an all female combat squad. When can I pre-order.
