About this game...

Postby jack1974 » Tue Jul 12, 2011 2:55 pm

This game was started in early January of this year! but then the artist had some serious issues, and was finally able to resume working this last week. He had already drawn the sketches of the main characters, so he only needs to color them, but takes a while since the 3 main one have lots of combinations of clothes and weapons/armors.

This was the original blog post when I announced it. It was last February!! :D

Below you see an image of Joanne, the wizard, in a few of the many possible combinations:

will post more in my twitter/blog in next months as the game development progresses.

I remember this one. I'm glad to hear the artist is okay now though as I tell people a lot 'life happens' you really can't control everything.

Back tot he game though, I see you have it set under the RPG forum so I suppose you have decided to make it that? Not say a stat/life sim or anything like that or the strategy one you were thinking of?

Well it's a mix of RPG/lifesim/strategy to be honest, but since there will be items, character customization, quests, and combat I think is more close to a RPG than a lifesim

Is it just me, or does the size of her breasts differ between the three pictures (fuller in middle picture)?

Hmm I think is an "optical effect" caused by the black/white line contrast... or maybe the artist simply drew them bigger in that image  it's a wizard cloak with incorporated push-ups!

Interesting. Is the outfit going to change depending on the armor you get? Sorta like how Princess Maker is your outfit changes depending on the cloths you set and you get different bonus's for each.

Yes exactly, there is one "standard" outfit to wear in dialogues and 4 other ones to wear during the missions. Those 4 are split into several body parts: head, chest, legs, shoes, weapons.

Ah, so there isn't going to be skills and stuff? Or will the outfit be magical and give you skills? For instance if you wanted to be more sneaky in a mission would the second outfit allow for more stealth and such?

Also even if you get a different part of the outfit, I'm assuming that only the chest will fully change your appearance, correct?

yes there are skills, and outfits will give bonuses

No each part is separate appearance. You select different shoes, you see different one, different legs/trousers, you see different one. There are lots of combinations possible, I'm not a mathematician but I think around 125 or so combos! :)
