Hello,
"see playing" you mean you got an event message with his name? the "show player" still show all player, including the one that were on the bench (there's a little arrow that tells you which one was substituted and which one is now on the field).

Yes that's it you still get the event message with his name even after he is substituted. I'll try and see if I can replicate what happened. Hope that helps and thanks for being so prompt in getting back to me.
