Loren romance graph and some info about add-on

Well Loren's existence could be more along the lines of - Karen needs a successor so she chose a male with good breeding stock/features (no weaklings for an amazon princess!) but she's always favored or exclusive to women for pleasure/companionship. Doing her 'duty' and that sort of thing. If they already have servants and other captives from raids and fighting, it would make sense. Amazon's gotta breed, they can't all go Wonder Woman and make their successor from clay (and lawsuits for copyright infringement).

Amazons use men but only to procreate so Karen to give birth to the princess/future Queen had to mate with a slave, obviously carefully selected to guarantee good genes to the new daughter

Awwww... That obviously means that her romance path with the main character is going to be troubled and fraught with hardship and tragedy, one way or another.

Speaking of which, that leads me to another thought. Since the PC is a side-character rather than a main one, it really is important for the PC to be able to have a close friendship with Loren no matter who he/she ends up romancing, so as to ensure that you can still steer her decisions in the right direction. Maybe some sort of "close friends" dialogue...?

Well there are some violent relationship, a bit like Damien / Lisa in Planet Stronghold. In theory he forces himself but in the end...

Truth be told I haven't gotten that far in PS yet. I was waiting to get the guide which I happily got like last month or so but I haven't had time to play now! I'll be blogging about my playthrough/thoughts and stuff though.

Yes, is fun because so far in the plot he always joke and stares at women, but maybe... it's just a cover!

As for Karen I kinda got the 'Woman Power' vibe off her from the start. Just had the image of her taking Elenor's chin in her hand and grinning down at her and being all like 'My, my, my. And what pretty little elf do we have here?' and stuff like that.

Well from my experience, just cause Loren thinks of Saren as a slave at first doesn't mean she'll think of him like that all the time. By that I mean for instance in the CG picture that is up the 'kiss me slave' could be her way of being 'shy' and saying that she likes Saren and wants to be closer. She may have been brought up that way but she doesn't have to 100% follow it.

But that's what I mean. In choosing to fall in love with the main character, Loren will have to give up everything else she holds dear and live as a shameful outcast from her people forever. It is, in its own way, just as sad and tragic.

I agree, that would be a very tragic and bittersweet ending. Loren can also go the route of still being queen and declaring him her personal consort. He'd have no power or authority in their world, but no other amazon would have the right to breed with him or abuse him. Or Karen could take back the throne allowing Loren and Saren to continue exploring as diplomats for the amazons. Or Loren and Saren could enjoy their night of passion possibly even conceiving a child together and then Loren gave him his freedom, so they'd be separated, but still able to love one another, which would also be very bittersweet.

I'm really curious to see what direction their relationship takes in the game.

Yes exactly. To be honest, this game isn't like Spirited Heart or others so some ending can be really sad / tragic... don't want to spoil anything though!
But indeed the romance between Saren and Loren would be the most troubled. Regarding the relationship with Loren, it will indeed necessarily involve at least some sort of friendship or close relationship with the player. However I'm using a system not based anymore on "pick the right answer", but the player can answer in 4 way: joking, friendly, forceful and sexy/flirting (though this last option is not always available).
So for example if you manage to finish the romance (are just examples, not necessarily will be like this in the game).
1. most player answers are joking = one night of passion and done
2. most answer friendly = saren becomes her personal servant...sort of hidden relationship
3. most answer forceful = they're just friend, or maybe Loren to teach him a lesson could still "force him to sex"?
4. most answer flirting = Karen could take back the throne allowing Loren and Saren to continue exploring as diplomats for the amazons (so they would be free with their love)

so while the romance scenes won't change the description and perhaps the "endings" will vary slightly based on player decision. A bit like Dragon Age or Fallout where depending what you did during the main gameplay, in the ending sequence you would see the narrator tell what happened to the world, character, etc. I like that kind of stuff

A small update, based on all feedback I got in forums/twitter/private by email I decided indeed that Amukiki will be also GxB, while Draco BxB only. I think fits better the characters and also makes girls happier which is always a good thing (men are already happy with all those hot girls present in the game!)

Yes indeed~ Males are happy both ways cause you know they'll be playing GxG as well. Although you know in all honestly, can't remember if I mentioned it, I think Myrth was pretty cool. I wouldn't have mind trying a playthrough with her. I already plan on ruling the Amazon's with Loren/Karen in one. Ya, I think a lot of girls like to be treated as royalty/worshiped. Or it could just be me. (Like how you ended up as queen in Dragon Age: Origins and chose Nobility origins. I think that was part of the appeal of Alistair some people liked.)

Yes Myrth is really cool I thought about a GxG with her but made more sense to use the Amazons for this purpose
