Two weapons fighter seems almost dancing on the battlefield, using speed and dexterity to evade and counterattack on the enemies. This style will be available to Loren, Sauzer (even if he fights unarmed) and Krul (enemy).
Explanation, I'm not going to write all the level values from now on, but just the skill description:
Dual Wield - Character can attack with both hands. Off-hand inflicts 50-75-100% damage and has 25-50-75% accuracy - passive skill
Parry - Character has a 5-10-15% chance to parry a melee attack reducing the damage by 50-75-100% - sustained skill
Lightning Reflexes - Increases the character's initiative by 25-50-75% - sustained skill
Eagle Strike - Special strike that hits two nearby enemies, with 15-30-45% chance of critical strike. - activated skill
Riposte - After a successful parry, character has 25-50-75% chances of striking the enemy back. - passive skill

obviously the combination of Parry III + Riposte III would result in a 15% chances to parry with 75% chance to strike back for every attack, but to get there you'd need to level up quite a bit! 8)

Mighty Blow - Strikes single target with a damage bonus of 50-100-150% but accuracy penalty of 30-20-10% - activated skill
Berserk - Increases character Attack by 25-50-75% but lowers defense by 25-50-75% - sustained skill

...I'm sorry to beat on a dying horse here, but I gots to know!

Where are you on the ranged Warrior skills? Have you considered my answer of giving a ranged warrior better base range and damage, but giving the rogue full mobility for greater threat range and better accuracy?

Haha no problems!
Well, the fact is that I moved from having TONS of skiltrees to 2 skilltrees each character (I realized I was really exaggerating too much with this game features). So, I'm sorry but I think I'll just have classic Warrior=melee and Thief=long range. This also because in the battle system I'm working on, there will be first/second rows, and you need to put SOMEONE in front row (the warriors).
I know it's a limitation, but if I was using a isometric engine, or a battlefield with a map it would make sense to have a Warrior with long-range, but using this system not much (beside I would need to add even more skills). But remember that this game will serve as "base" to build up all future RPG, like I'm doing with Planet Stronghold. Once you have some basic stuff working adding new features is much easier - I am adding Area Of Effect and All Targets (Friendly/Hostile) Psionics on Planet Stronghold: Warzone and just after playing a few matches feels already like a completely different game :)

In summary - will remember your suggestion for next game

...I guess I can live with that, though I really, REALLY don't want to have to play through the whole game with fifty warriors and really, REALLY hope I can choose to play a male rogue instead.

Just sayin'. I don't like having a "single class" party... well, ever if I can help it.

It would be impossible (outside of story reasons) to have a party with a single class as it stands right now. Unless you're just not filling the party up all the way. There are a ton of ranged fighters (archers and magicians) and you get them quite early.

Also, right now the player character counts as both a warrior and a rogue. Not sure what that means entirely, but maybe you can choose one in the beginning?

Yes in the beginning, you'll be able to pick your "background" which will be either Warrior or Thief. Your "unique" skilltree will still be the healer one, but your class can be Thief or Warrior. I'm going to make another thread where I post each character class so you can see there's a plenty of classes, definitely not fifty warriors!

Jack, regarding the blog on icons for skill trees: You were saying that you would have to commission another 60 icons and that would add to the cost of the game. Is there a way to use existing icons but change colors for different levels? It might be a dumb idea and maybe I don't understand but I was thinking if you use a different color for each level then you might save time and money.

Best Regards
Jim
