Upcoming 0.9 changes

I've decided to skip the 0.85 and do the 0.9 which will:
- fix all known bugs so far (I mean crashing bug, for features changes, I'll see case by case)
- sadly, require you to start from beginning I updated to a new version of my middleware software, which could in theory allow Loren to run on Android devices, but the pay-off is that old savegames in 90% of cases aren't compatible... you can try loading it and see if works, but I doubt it
- contain the whole second and third chapter!
- have new battle animations (not 100% sure but hope the artist makes them in time)
- I noticed that by mistake I used the chest armor for the chain girdle!! the data was ok, but the picture was wrong, so I fixed it
- all the Thief skills will work properly with the right conditions

really sorry about the break savegame thing, but it's beyond my control in this case

3 chapters?! That sounds great! o0o How many chapters will Loren have in total, w/ the expansion?

There are 4 + the expansion can be considered an extra chapter, but it's hard to quantify. The expansion for example adds three new quest locations but also 2 more dateable characters (male/female), so an extra 4 romance suplots. Depends on what you're interested mostly

added the first battle against demons today I'm about 30% into scripting chapter2 right now.

Regarding save-games, my personal opinion is that this game is in development so we cannot expect our save-games to work from iteration to iteration. I would rather have a better game than have my save-games work.

Thanks, and you're right since I clearly label the product as "Beta", but I really didn't expect this (it was a major update of the tool I use) so I was pissed also because all my own savegames didn't work!

though probably will add some more battles before this one to make chapter2 longer.
