I bought the game a few days ago and got the receipts for it in my email. However, when I try to register the game with the email address, the game crashes and gives me the following report.

I was simply curious if anyone else encountered this problem and figured out how to solve it. I did send an email about this to <edited out to prevent spamming by mod> on monday, but I haven't received any confirmation of it even being received yet. As I've seen questioned rather quickly here, I thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks in advance already.

Ah! Indeed I wondered why I got no reply I replied you shortly after I got your email, but anyway: the problem is in the character of your email address. Try using a instead of ä when entering your email to register the game and will work. Thanks

Great to hear the email was received, I'm just now really curious what happened to the reply, as I can't even find it my junk mail folder. Was a bit worried about it.

I'm a bit confused because my email doesn't contain an ä. Is it possible the problem due to me using a nordic interface, so that while I don't use the letters, my system still recognizes å, ä and ö? And if it is, how would I go around that?

That shouldn't be the problem, you could try setting the language to English and try again. But I really doubt it.
Does your computer or username contain any non ASCII characters like ä?

Yes I think that is the issue. You can do two things then, either temporarily change the computer name so that doesn't use any special characters, or you can try replacing the options.rpyc file with the one you find here: LorenRPG-1.0a/

Turns out my computer name actually had several ä's in it. I changed it and now the registration works fine. Thanks for the help and sorry for the trouble.

Haha no trouble at all! It was my fault, I have fixed the system now, but I am too scared to reupload the whole game on launch day (don't want to have upload/download problems). thanks

The full official version doesn't allow for screenshots anymore, does it? I take a screen shot, it says it puts it in C:\Program Files (86x)\Winter Wolves\Loren the Amazon Princess\screenshot0001.png. It's not there and every screen shot I take is #0001. It's not a problem if it's no longer available.
