Seems like my family crisis is resolved, though I won't know for sure till tomorrow. In any case, I'm more at ease now and have proceeded with heavy testing (finished Juliet/Ebele/Dancer endings today).
One thing that I've noticed is that you can get events involving you going on land while sailing between colonies. Maybe events should be disabled completely when sailing, unless you want to have some kind of filter for specific events on land?

I checked for that, but perhaps some of them slipped through
if you remember which one let me know and will fix it!

I remember for sure an event with Heileen and Marie planting stuff. But there were more than that, at least three, so I thought it was a universal problem and didn't jot down the specific ones after the first.
There was also an event that started with "Our ship arrived in Port Royal", where I had been docked at the colony for several days.

Ok will check them all to be sure

Well in this case is fine, I can't do a check if an event is ok to appear just after they traveled, is a bit too muchFranka wrote: There was also an event that started with "Our ship arrived in Port Royal", where I had been docked at the colony for several days.

That's semi-my bad. A lot of things were written before I fully understood the structure of the game. (Some were written even before I saw pictures/sprites of the characters I was writing about.) I could probably go back and fix it to make it more vague on when the ship arrived at the colony. ^^;

Not really your fault, I can fix all the other scenes adding a check if they're sailing or not. In that specific scene would be enough to change it "We were in Port Royal" instead of "our ship arrived", not a big problem

Another thing I've noticed, about the small scenes when training advanced skills with the "right" character:
If you've moved past the level where the "right" trainer should have a scene, you'll skip the scene. This causes some confusion when you watch the next scene, since they tell a continuing story. Fx, I had Dancing lv3 before even recruiting, so I skipped straight to the second scene at lv4.
Also, you didn't fix the typos I reported for "Silly stuff" (I think they're in the development thread).
