I tried to get the Guilty ending but I keep failing. I tried to follow your walkthrough exactly,
Spoiler:
but Tina doesn't search for clues or get into a boss fight with Rob if Tanya's captured
, so I'm a little confused. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Well,
Spoiler:
to get the boss fight Tina vs Rob, you need to keep insisting on investigating when he suggests to let it go. Otherwise you'll have Tina kidnapped and that storyline will end

After you've listened to the Lucas Walker / Richard Meier conversation, are you actually surprised about that?

I am not sure if I am encountering a bug, or whether I am really bad at following your walkthrough. Most of the time when completing a playthrough no ending unlocks and the game goes straight to credits. I have been able to unlock a few of the endings which causes me to think it is most likely something that I am doing wrong, but I wanted to post just in case.

Here is the scene order from my most recent playthrough and attempt to unlock THE PROMOTION:
scene00, scene02, scene03, scene04, scene06, scene05, scene07, scene08, scene09, scene10, scene12, scene15, scene17, scene20, scene22, scene24, scene27, scene28, scene30, scene34, scene37, scene39.

Since Tina in a jar was discussed above, let me mention I would have liked to...
Spoiler:
see what happens if Tanya takes Tinas Brain and puts it into a robot.

Freelancer: going to check the scenes list, but probably if you have a savegame just before the end it would help me a lot more since I can check the variables directly :) for info on how to do that see here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2971
Lonestar51 yeah that would have been interesting indeed!

That wasn't what I was asking.
Spoiler:
You say that the Guilty ending is like the Buried ending, but in order to activate the latter, Tina has to get kidnapped. Then you say that the former is like the later except Tina has to gather enough clues which she can't do if she does get kidnapped.
It's a little confusing.

I think I got confused between the GUILTY and NOT GUILTY endings :)
Spoiler:
NOT GUILTY: Nanotech not destroyed, Tina failed to investigate correctly, Jason never caught by Nanotech
BURIED: Nanotech destroyed, Tanya dead, Tina failed to investigate correctly
GUILTY: Nanotech destroyed, Tanya dead, Tina investigated correctly

So is as I said, the GUILTY (Richard is guilty) Tina needs to investigate correctly. Is for the NOT GUILTY that Tina must not go on in her investigations, so being kidnapped or being killed by Rob in the boss fight.

I know at this point you're probably tired of hearing from me but no matter what I do I can't get the GUILTY ending. It's very frustrating.

What do you get instead? do you play in parallel plots mode, right? (another user had that problem)
