Hey I was wondering.. I'm considering buying Planet Stronghold but
(please excuse my biased-ness..) the only reason I'd play it is for the yaoi. I wanna know if it's worth it. How does the romance play out with Cliff? Good? Bad? Cliché? And what's Cliff like because I don't want a girly, whiny little xD gayngster.

It's not a whine little "gayngster"
but to be fair another user complained about the somewhat abrupt ending. I have in mind to rewrite PS endings so they fit better the sequel once I'm finished with Loren's expansion, so maybe you can wait until I do that ?

Cliff's romance is pretty cute, but it is short. He gives you missions and things like that but he's not actually part of your party. Cliff himself is a cool fella. I'd say his main characteristics are his strong will and his tendency to prioritize the future of the kingdom over his personal feelings.
And he's very pretty, so there's that too.

I was a bit confused by the way it ended.
And it doesn't help that there is really no sign of the romance after the CG event.
(I bought the game for the yaoi
)

Yeah, I'm probably going to rework the first game adding more detailed endings when I'm finished with Loren expansion. The sequel will definitely be more like Loren, with lots more romance/character development!!

I agree, Cliffs romance was really cute, but sadly short.
On the other hand, as much as I like Michelle, when is Lisa going to be able to get some Alien loving jack!.

Well in sequel she gets it (have already the scene) with Lakadema (that bizarre looking alien

The sneak peak for Lakadema does look good, was kinda hoping for Shiler as well, but I guess Cliff was more highly requested as a option for Lisa, but no worries.

To be honest anything can still happen in that game, so far have 8 CG done for it but could add 2 more either in the main game or as DLC
