Thanks for that bug report! I'll see if I can fix that.

Re: Romance Guide
I'm changing Rei's branch title from "Help him" to "Save him" because of some minor confusion that you're helping him score with Loren, which may keep some interested in him from choosing that option ... My bad!

Re: Romance Guide
Hm, have you noticed this?...
The number of views topics have on this forum... It seems romance related posts catch most eyes and interests...
... and to think about the fact that a few years ago I posted a request in an rpg forum, asking for romance plots (that game had none), and people's reactions were mostly negative, kinda, aprox. cite: "What has romance to do with an rpg?... lol"
But lately... it seems there are more and more people who discover that just swinging swords and axes in a virtual environment becomes quite boring or less satisfactory after a while, unless Something Else, related to feelings and emotions, is in the bag...

Re: Romance Guide
Well remember that I am also making mostly dating sims, so my kind of users really want romance
I think that might influence the results in my forums.
But I agree that things are changing (luckily). I am the same, whenever I play a game based on a story, if there isn't even just a small romance plot (not necessarily with sexy stuff, even just a platonic romance) I'm disappointed. W ROMANCE!!!!!!!

Re: Romance Guide
Same here. Romance could be a "optinal" thing to some players, but not to me. I think that most stories would be better if there was a little bit of romance. Especially if such romance is tragically bounded to the fate of some characters.jack1974 wrote:I am the same, whenever I play a game based on a story, if there isn't even just a small romance plot (not necessarily with sexy stuff, even just a platonic romance) I'm disappointed.
Spoiler:
Oh, another thing, I have noticed a very interesting fact: If you played the game as Elenor and decided that she would only romance girls, there's a obvious pattern:
1 - Loren - Dark Hair, Blue Eyes
2 - Karen - Dark Hair, Blue Eyes
and in the expansion there will be Chamby! And guess what:
3 - Chambara - DARK HAIR, BLUE EYES!
...So she have a preference! HOHOHO
And what about Saren? Does he behave like Elenor? Not exactly... Look:
1 - Draco - Blond, Light Brown Eyes
2 - Amukiki - Brunette, Dark Brown Eyes
and we have in the expansion the awesome Mesphit!
3 - Mesphit - Blond, Blue eyes
So, perhaps Saren would only like light haired boys while Elenor would like only dark haired, blue eyed girls? Now thats something to think about!
...Or maybe I'm mistaken? Some help here would be nice... XD

Re: Romance Guide
I, too, have noticed how almost all men are blonds and almost all women are raven-haired. There's 1 exception to each gender: Amukiki and Myrth. Not sure if Jack commissioned their hair colors specifically or if it was the colorist's decision. Loren and Karen obviously should look alike, but I mean, ALL the men (except Amukiki) have blond hair??
The eye color is weird, too.
It's like they're in an anime, because the Japanese always portray foreigners as blond/blue eyes.

Re: Romance Guide
Hahaha... Good to know that I'm not the only one who found that to be quite peculiar, but I actually thought it was funny. However I still think it's HI-LA-RI-OUS that 3 romances females options have the same hair and eyes color, I'm just imagining my poor Elenor seeing the huge cat-fight between Chambs/Karen/Loren and she suddenly shouting:"DARKHAIRBLUEEYES" while laughting from the baffled faces of her "lovers"... Muahaha!
I think I just made some fanfiction material! XD

Re: Romance Guide
Lol you know I didn't even realize it until you mentioned it now!
I told the colorist the colors, but I totally missed the fact that was such a strange combination. The fact is that I really couldn't imagine an amazon with blonde hair (really, no clue why! but I couldn't imagine it) and Chambara being a dark witch I wanted her to have dark hair... hmm well, next game will be more careful

Re: Romance Guide
Hah! Ohgod, got to be honest, Chambara's romance route with Eleanor is just awesome
Regardless! I will keep an eye out for bugs or anything *salutes*
EDIT:
At the Grandtree, when you have protected the town, until the townfame is about 50 (That's as high as it go, no?) there is a discount, but for some reason the townfame has gone up to 200 suddenly and the discount is 100% meaning (everything's free! Yay!) which, of course this an outmost tragedy for these poor elves trying to get by.
