...wow, I actually really like Mesphit, but I want to see what happens that causes him to die there.
Then again I think I may be sort of a misery-guts- before the expansion was released I'd keep killing off the main character (who was in a romance) just to see how their romantic partner reacted...
...then I'd reload choose someone else because it was too depressing otherwise XD
Poor Mesphit though, he has like at least two ways to perma-kill him XD

XD Great, now you have me wondering how many ways you can get Mesphit killed...
Somehow it makes it okay to choose a scene where it has a sad outcome if I know there's a better/less depressing way I can reload and try afterwards... and my curiosity gets the better of me.
...though to be fair the ending that made me sorta-cry first was the romance ending with Draco, because I interpreted the very end of it as Saren dieing in his sleep and Draco and him meeting up in the afterlife.
...if I recall right anyway.

I'll say that while it made me cry, it was a happy sort of cry. Draco's romance has been my favorite one so far (he's kind of my favorite CHARACTER, I'd say, even when not romancing him).
...I still need to go and try to finish romancing a suicidal demonic elf, though. I'm sure THAT is gonna end well

I have to say Draco's my favorite too. I can't usually tolerate yaoi things but I found his path very cute~ (I teared up a little in some parts yeah)
Hmm, there are LOT of things that can happen between you and a "suicidal demonic" elf... But I guess it's not gonna be that pretty? XD
At least in the end someone heals his pain :3

So, I got both the Elenor/Mesphit AND the Saren/Mesphit romance endings- (so, spoilers contained within!)

I actually liked the end romance scene with Saren better- both of the poor protagonists had to sort of learn to out-stubborn a hugely stubborn dark elf... but poor Saren's the one who had to drag his injured self into Everburn to get through to him, so it's even more dramatic to me.
Elenor's the one who sort of gets more of an ambiguously happy ending, though... I hope the Saren scene in the epilogue might be hinting that Mesphit will be a returning character for the sequel.
I mean even outside of the romances, there's the question of 'if demons aren't evil, why is demon!Mesphit so out of control' that I either missed the answer to, or it hasn't been answered- so it'd be interesting.
He's a little suicidal.
I can't recommend them, but they needed to be written.
