Who is the best Love Interest?

I have offically played through all romances! (I should get some kind of badge--something tastefull I can wear to work.) Here's my list:

B/G: Saren/Chambara win. It wasn't so much that this was a great romance but more to do with I didn't like having a slave master (Loren) and Myrth is a little dry for me. So Charmbara wins by defult.

B/B: Mesphit was probably my favorite. Draco worked great for me as a comic relief character but not so much as a romance option. Amukiki never showed any personality until the end and by that time he was too cemented in my mind as a rival rather than romantic interest.

G/B: Elenor/Rei. I don't even like Rei, but he was easily the best option. Amukiki and Mesphit are pretty much the same with either Elenor or Saren.

G/G: Karen inches out Loren. Both are interesting, and neither made me ware a collar

In general, I think the Elenor only options were far better than the Saren only options. Draco and Myrth were two of my least favorite characters. Karen was one of my favorite and I grew to really like Rei by the end of their romance. That never happened for me with Draco or Myrth.

Is interesting for me to see how results have changed after about 1400 votes. Mesphit is clearly ahead but Loren is not too far. 3rd place Rei, and then there's a huge gap to the 4th, Chambara.

I love Chamby so much, and it's nice to see the Dom/sub relationship explored maturely , since I'm in one IRL now, but I wasn't expecting her to overtake Karen like that!, Karen was my original vote.

The problem, as posted a while ago, was that I should have done two polls, or maybe four, for each gender/combo. Because Chambara can count also on male votes

There's always the other solution as well, opening Karen up to men too. Then she'd be on an even footing with Chamby and Loren in this poll...

Yes, but I like to have some homosex-only characters in the games, as there are only straight ones (albeit are a minority ).

Except Karen's personality isn't truly homosex as written. She's bi. So pigeon-holing her as homosex-only forever and ever, including in the sequels, comes across as artificial. Yes she got burned her last time around with a man, but that wasn't the man's fault. And while she understandably wished to avoid that sort of disaster again, and that explained her being homo-sex only in the original, sexual attraction is a powerful thing, and her desire for men isn't going to go away simply because she'd like it to after her previous male love's death. Furthermore, her daughter as queen successfully ends slavery, making the rules against serious relationships with male slaves (flings were always ok or Amazons would've died out long ago) that caused Karen to run away a thing of the past, and Karen isn't too stupid or too rigid to see the obvious. It's only a matter of time before she reaches the conclusion that the problem wasn't her desires, but how she ran away from her responsibilities instead of using her power as Queen to implement the changes needed to make the relationship she desired legal.

I'll also point out that Loren 2 adds a 2nd homosex-only amazon, Breza, on top of Karen, and then there is Loren who is bi. So none of the amazons are straight, and all three of them do G-G, but only one does B-G.

No no I wasn't saying that it wouldn't be PLAUSIBLE if Karen went bisex "again", only that for this game I wanted to have some more homosex only characters (on male side there's Nook and Draco). Who knows maybe in future Karen will turn again on the "Amazons dark side" (or light side as you prefer!)
I think Loren is the only B-G Amazon, but also because Saren is involved. I don't think she would fall in love easily for another man. But that's my point of view of course

Baby amazons have to come from somewhere. And I don't think you can socialize peoples' sexual interests out of them, although it's probably much easier to socialize a young person like Loren who is bi into thinking that they're gay, then someone who is gay that they're straight, or someone who is straight that they're gay. So someone who is perfectly happy with women and heavily socialized against men like Loren would need extended contact with an exceptional man to whom she is strongly attracted like Saren to wear away her cultural programming. Nevertheless for straight amazons, persecution would only drive those Amazons desirous of a serious relationship with a man "into the closet". It wouldn't make them gay.
