My thoughts... ended up putting spoiler block even though I think it's a spoiler thread.

I think Elenor/Karen edged out for me in the end and won my vote. A lot of sweet scenes and a lot of hurt healing for Karen. Props to the rafters scene as well (which I think other people also mentioned in the thread )
Elenor/Chambara I also really liked, because of her continuing even further the game's overriding theme of not judging things as evil. Relationship felt a little dysfunctional, but the ending sequence for them righted that I think. (Was minorly disappointed in how similar it was to Saren/Chambara though).
As for Saren, liked his Draco route, very lighthearted. And cute how they had one of the most ordinary endings together too, great :D
No love for Amukiki here, sorry! Not my kinda guy. Think his Saren route was the better of the two though. Felt him way too demeaning as Elenor.
Also not a Mesphit fan, surprises me how he gets so much love here! Approve though how his Elenor/Saren routes have their differences. Good story, but didn't get along with him.

Sleeper hit though was Rei! Utterly shut him down at first impressions on my initial playthrough. Could not stand the personality, and that feeling grew over the rest of the playthrough, and Saren's too. But then the romance turns out really sweet, with Rei being so genuinely sad with Elenor's lack of knowledge of her heritage, and him teaching her. Good save Rei

Here are my thoughts:

So... Hehe, when I first was looking at the romance options, I was totally going to romance Draco. Then I learned you couldn't (as a girl). I was a bit upset, thought about playing a guy for a while, but I though, "Well, I'll date Sauzer". Nope, can't date him either (although I think he should of have some non-sexual romantic or friendship option for an ending, which I might talk more about if I ever finish that review I'm writing). Well, I looked at my options: Rei, Mesphit, or Amukiki (I wanted to date a guy this time, although I still picked the romance options for the three girls).

Well, I thought Amukiki was totally out of the running. I would talk to my brother, who had beaten the game, and ask him who he liked better between Rei and Mesphit, and he'd always say, "Date Amukiki". I'd always say that there was no way of that ever happening. I had two attractive elf options. Why would I go to with the huge human?

But the second I met him I knew I was going to pick him. I thought, at first, I was going to romance no one (and by that, I mean romance everybody cap at four hearts, picking no one). Sometimes I thought, "Maybe I could just... Pretend I'm dating Draco. Or Sauzer". But I didn't need to do that.

The relationship he had with Elenor was so cute. They don't really know if they love or hate each other -- and it stays that way! The "Food" cutscene was my favorite of any of any of Elenor's cutscenes. And his personal quest was great! I just loved him, and I think he was perfect for her. My only issue was how... Random the romance scene felt, in my opinion. I wish it had a censored version (with just the kiss, but at least something... I wish the kiss was still in it... EDIT: this wasn't very clear, but I meant the CG) . Although I'm happy to see that the Loren 2 CGs have some sexy and some cute, which I love (again, if I ever write that review...).

So... Amukiki. He's great... And for the scene where...

He used the Ember Blade! I squealed. I wish he could actually use it in battle. That would have been amazing. He shouldn't have given it back.

Haha I love your brother's suggestion Personally I like all the romances, but for the GxB I think Amukiki is my favorite. In the sequel the scene with him is much more romantic !

Judging from fan art, it seems that Draco is the most popular character. But that doesn't mean that he's the most popular L.I. But yes Myrth gained positions! The only one that is always on top is Mesphit, followed by Loren. With over 1500 votes now I think this is a good sample

While I said I wasn't a big Amukiki fan, I do massively agree with Valorus.

was really awesome. Really puts your character in the role of a hero-maker, huh?

As an aside, that was one of the different feelings I really liked about this game. The game's not named after you, and you really aren't a hero (at first...). Lovely storytelling niche that's done all too rarely.

I guess I have to agree with you, Kevralyn, that he was a bit demeaning at first, I love how Amukiki's relationship with her evolved over time. But I'm such a fan of him that when I went so see Loren's and Chambara's romance scenes from a past save, I saw the choice came up and I said "oh, I want Amu!" ... Then I realized it didn't... Hehe.

I see how Mesphit has the love of the fans, but he's not my kinda guy either. But I kind if shy away from the popular guys and the "troubled bad boy" type (I know he's not a great fit fir that but its kinda close...), so I should have guessed from the start, then, I'd date the least popular option. I still felt bad breaking his heart. But he just can't compare to Amukiki for me.

Rei is meh for me. I liked him more than I thought, especially after his romance scene, and I felt horrible breaking his heart in Rei v. Mesphit (so I reset... It's less sad to break Mesphit's heart there then Rei's, and I had to break Rei's in Rei v. Amukiki... At least he got dumped for someone I was actually interested in (I'm a monster I know)).
Although... I liked how you felt as special to him as you did to Mesphit. I thought I'd be one in a million, but Elenor was his only, just like Mesphit. And, unfortunately for them, Amukiki.

At least they sorta get along now, right. They can have a support group! ( Why am I such a horrible person? ...Although telling Amu "Reject Nomad culture", hearing him say "What am I worthy of?"... That was too sad. He loves you, but he can't admit it!)
