So another short update about the gameplay, I will go more in detail in future blog posts:I've recently played the "Hands Of Fate" game (not Heileen 2 the game on Steam) and I found very interesting the exploration part done with cards. I am going to use it for this game instead of isometric view, for two main reasons:
1) is MUCH easier to code and takes less time
2) it's also more "casual" and so perfect for the target market of this game

I've not talked much about the writing of this game, but I think the new writer is really doing a good job. The yuri part is very good, but I also like how she's editing/rewriting the otome one. This is quite uncommon to see in otomes:

main character taking the initiative like this OK Kira in this scene is drunk, but still it's a funny and refreshing scene from the usual innocent-shy girl present in most otome games!

An update on the game: Forsaken (the writer) finished Tiberius route, so only Melvin is left to complete the otome part too. She's probably going to write some more stuff, like:
- the placeholder/storyboard texts in the catacomb exploration I'm doing myself
- she also need to write some random events during the robbing events
- the ending and maybe some different epilogues based on who you romanced for each of the 3 girls
but apart that, the rest is done.
Personally I'm still struggling in the catacombs I am almost finished with level 5 though, so only 4 left. As you know July was a disaster because of the record heat-wave in my country (there were the biggest temperatures EVER in history, over 5°C higher than previous records! that is quite something...).
And so I'm slowly going back into coding, but at this point I've moved my own deadline for the catacombs at end of August. Then there'll be the robbing gameplay to design, and the beta could be ready, assuming meanwhile the artist has done the romance scenes too.

If everything goes as planned the game beta WILL be out before end of year. However, it would be a miracle that everything goes as planned We'll see what happens in the next months...

This is definitely the game I'm looking most forward to out of all WW games, hopefully everything goes as planned!

Question; hopefully I'm not being a bother, but are we going to learn more about the characters any time soon? Without any spoilers, obviously, but we don't know much about the characters. We know what they do, but not much about their basic personality. I'm going to stay hyped, but it would be easier to stay hyped if I knew more about what I was getting into. I'm not asking for anything soon or specific, just wondering if we'll get more info on the characters before the beta and/or official release. I'm assuming you're waiting because you have other games that you would like to put focus on since they'll be out sooner and/or don't want to spoil anything.

I've already decided who I want to set the sisters up with: Thalia/Frederick, Kira/Tiberius, and Joanne/Melvin. That might change a little once I know a little more, but I'm getting good vibes from these pairings, although I'll definitely try the other combinations when I inevitably replay the game right away.

I will ask the writer to do a proper intro of each girl I can do a summary in my poor English:

But as said I'll ask writer to do an intro of all characters, including the love interests as well

added a new button which I needed for shorten the testing, but that I plan to leave in the final game since I'm sure many casual players will like it (or even non-casual players who wants to quickly replay the game).
You could already automatically pick attributes and skill points for each individual character. With that"Full party automatic level up" you can assign EVERYTHING in a single click for the whole party

Joanne: he's the "oldest" sister, more serious, though she had little experience with men in the past. Her weapon of seduction are legs
Kira: middle sister, ex-town guard, a bit hot headed, tends to get drunk and sometimes she ended up doing things she didn't want

Things she regrets rather than didn't want is a better way of putting it. There's certainly not meant to be any reference to crimes of a serious nature.

Half of everything you know is their sexual appetite because I wrote that quickly. In future I won't write anything anymore and leave it to the writer, since clearly was a mistake on my part trying to do it
She wrote for each character a detailed profile, yes including sexual stuff but like for everyone is just an aspect of their personality, not the main aspect.
Regarding maturity, the game is not like Loren, a bit less. No topless or nudity shown, no particular descriptions of the romance scenes. Haha those lines I wrote really gave a totally wrong impression of the game. I'm going to delete that post now
