OK looks like that the first item on the previous list can be scratched off...! I am coding all the "robbery scenes" as well, there are many different rooms and random variants of them (one time a merchant could pretend to be poor, another time be really poor, etc). Though of course after a while, the scenes will repeat (it's kind of inevitable).

Here Joanne is making fun of Thalia's hairstyle

Just spoke with Forsaken and she should be finished with the main story by end of this month! I don't know how long will take to the artist to draw the main story CGs, but I hope that by end of May should be done.

In any case once I finish Heirs & Graces, I'll take maybe a week or two of break and then even if the CGs aren't ready won't be a problem to start the beta of this game (I can always use placeholder for those since are only 4 CGs, and all the romance ones are already done!).

I'm pleased to say that I finished all the robbery mission scenes!
Forsaken is working on the main story and said was writing the epilogues today. So all that's left is the artist to do the 4 new CGs and... it's time for beta!
But I want to finish Heirs & Graces first, I cannot do a RPG beta WHILE doing another beta/finishing another game, that would be a bit too much even for me haha

Well I actually was wrong, I still need to code the final battle scenes. So probably 1 more week of coding work  but will do that as last thing, since I am going to tweak a bit the things before doing the beta. Some enemies in Nightmare more were basically unbeatable... Mad Alchemist throwing explosive potion dealing 50dmg on first turn, Thalia KO! And he could throw one every turn! a bit too much

Curious: Are bombs (or thrown potions) unaffected by attack vs. defense and thus do flat damage?

They do flat damage but if you enable the "dodge system", if your character dodges it does half damage :)

And I suppose the healing potions heal a flat amount too? It certainly makes for some basic dynamics to make the choice between more defense and more health a more interesting one.

Yes exactly. The fights of this game SHOULD be very different from SOTW. When I played I had completely different outcomes depending on 2-3 choices I made both on skills, who to attack, and what potions to use. I think it should be interesting :)

So Forsaken just sent me the texts of the main plot. I think people will like it, some mystery and plot twists. There's a sort of cliffhanger at the end (though related to a possible future game/spin-off) so I apologize in advance
I also realized that I also need to code the mansions/targets to rob to advance in the main story. They will be more customized than the others. There aren't many, 5 in total, but since are custom will probably take me 1 week to do those. Then another one for the final battle and check all the scripting/editing.
I knew I wasn't done with everything yet! Though it's still not much left really :)
