You get customers in shops and they tell you stuff to craft :) you can watch youtube videos for the atelier series, even if in that case there's RPG combat.

I have already many other RPGs planned, and since doing a RPG takes a lot more time than a normal game, especially testing (something like 10 to 20 times more!) I decided to take it easier with that game.
You could compromise. Maybe the previous owner of the magic shop suffered a terrible accident and Amber doesn't want to lose any customers, so she roleplays as the owner as she attempts to craft their odd requests. ;)

Haha yes, "roleplay" with that meaning is possible :)

Jokes apart, I know many people here like RPGs, but IF I can do the crafting sim as I have in mind, I think could turn out fun. Besides that, honestly Amber has such a setting, characters and also writing that I think you'll love it 8)

Today's update!
- Removed Queen Of Thieves from the list. Even if new bugs shows up, we're in the final stages now. Official release is imminent!
- Amber's Magic Shop writing to 99%, since I might need to add some texts for recipes/ingredients/etc but the story is all done.
- Love Bites music to 75% - I might ask musician to do more tracks, and/or move some tracks to other projects (since it's same musician I can do it). However it's at good point
- Never Forget Me coding to 70%. Only Lawrence's route is not coded yet, but all others are. I still need to think about the scheduler gameplay system and how to do it though!

I also think probably will need to add to the list a game I've started working on, set in Dingirra. Maybe next month though, now is still a bit early :)

The one thing I gotta know, since ya said about QOT: Do you know of anyone who could tell me if it's possible to sync what I've done to a Kindle Fire? :)

I'm not sure if that's possible. The format should be compatible, but copying the actual files... with a normal Android device I think should work (I have never tried myself though).

In today's update, I only bumped the Never Forget Me coding, since this week I tested all the routes. In practice if was a visual novel, could be in beta from tomorrow! I will still try to do some (optional) dating sim mechanic though.
We're halfway in September so here are my plans:
- finish Never Forget Me (this should 99% happen before end of year)
- begin working on Amber's simulation part, which will be more complex than usual, with the shop, crafting system etc. However I am 100% sure that game won't be out this year. I need a break

I have several other projects going on, got updates in the CURSED GAME, and other stuff not yet officially announced (the Dingirra game). I think I'll also see if I can make some of those famous "other games", maybe a card game or some town simulation. But those are side-projects, the main ones will still be the usual games so don't worry.
It's just that sometimes I need a break from the usual stuff, after doing 4 games in a year all with romance, simulation (and even a RPG) I want to try other stuff and do experiments :)

So that means next year at the latest, right? (Please tell me that's what it means; I'm dyin here, Jack! :P )

Also, any info on when Loren 2 will be out? The first one was what first introduced me to WW games, and my second fave only to SOTW! :)

Well it's the first game I'll work after Never Forget Me, so while I have no clue how long the sim part will take me to code (has been a while since I did something like that!) I don't think should take more than 6 months. I'd say that before next Summer for sure!
Loren 2 still needs all the camp talk and side quests written. It's taking time but so far the result is quite good, though I really don't think will be out next year. Next year SHOULD be:
1) Amber
2) "Mysterious" Dingirra game
3) Planet Stronghold 2
4) Undead Lily
I think those 4 are the most likely to be done (first one for sure). As always, I have no clue what might happen

Question on that:
Does that take place in Aravorn? Another dimension? Post-apocalyptic world of some sort?

Looks awesome from what I've seen so far no matter what. (Esp. w/ the Chaos side! )
