Today's update:
- bumped a bit coding for Amber's Magic Shop since the crafting framework is added to the game and I've already started doing some recipes. Might be higher % but I'm conservative since it's a kind of game I've never done before
- Love Bites: writing to 15% and art to 90, since all sprites and CGs are done. GUI as well. Might do some more pieces of art (there are some nightmare scenes that would be really great with some custom art) or backgrounds but nothing much
- Nicole Yuri version AHEM art to 95% since new CGs are being made right now!
- Removed Never Forget Me since it's already in beta but everything is done for it. Only the official trailer left, but that's not part of the game

Yes unfortunately this means that humanity will extinguish very soon. Just 1 day before the official release

It stands for Graphical User Interface. And it's really painful to work on.

Yes though in that case is a dating sim, so it's not as bad as Amber. But they're really hard and time consuming, I spent 3 full days on the GUI of the Amber recipes screen, and haven't finished it yet

Is this confirmation that the game is not being canned?

Yes it is not. But don't ask anything else (like for example WHEN it will be out!)
