And I admit, I enjoy some of it as teasers/spoilers when appropriate ;) (Like Lydia and Daronas)

It really is taking shape fairly well, and once in shape, the information will certainly start to roll faster.

I will redirect some of the race pages to the Cultures/Countries entries as well, following PTigras model. This will be appropriate for the Nomads, Elves, and Dwarves.

Needless to say, if anyone has better pictures than ones I put up (like with Loren and Breza), feel free to replace mine.

Heh, and I definitely will purchase Magic Stones later today. I really want to get some information on the aforementioned 'Black Tower'

The Merge/Redirect for Amazon/Amazons is done.

Updated Category Tree:

Aravorn Wiki Content
  • Characters
    • Amazons
    • Dark Elves
    • Dwarves
    • Elves
    • Humans
    • Loren: The Amazon Princess characters
    • Loren 2 characters
    • Mages
    • Thieves
    • Warriors
  • Games
  • Locations
    • Loren: the Amazon Princess locations
    • Loren 2 characters
    • Seasons of the Wolf locations
  • Lore
  • Races & Cultures
Note that the Amazons page and the Amazons character category are two different things. The Amazons page is categorized under Races & Cultures. On the other hand Loren, Karen & Breza are categorized under Amazons, the character category.

I won't be really able to do much until later this afternoon (my time), but while the is still in the early stages, I want to say P_Tigras, Aleema, and Jack1974 have done some great work. I apologize for anyone I may have missed.

I do have a question. I really haven't dug into Magic Stones yet (I will be focusing on Spirited Heart), but are the Druids in that game different than say the Druids in Loren?

Well honestly I am not sure if is worth it to consider that game  I used Aravorn as setting, but I had not in mind the same world of the latter games. You could say that even humans can be Druid (in SOTW, you can play as Druid with a snow elf) but seems a world different from Loren's. If I have to add it, it could possibly be set in the very early years of the timeline, before year 99 when the dark elves were born.

It doesn't need to be included, especially given its age. I was mostly asking due to the obvious 'Aravorn' name connection. However, if you don't wish it in, that's cool.

Heh, it wouldn't be the first time something was retconned, after all. ;)

Heheheheheh...now that we have a wiki, you're going to need to make more of an effort to keep the lore consistent across all games that take place in the same world. :P

In Loren, Druids seemed to be a race not a class. If the elves could be Druids, what did they need Myrth, who was neither elf nor human, for? While in SOTW, it appears that Druid is just another character class, one that is open to elves. If Druids are class as depicted in SOTW, then what exactly is Myrth? A dryad?

Damn wiki!!!!
Hmm you're right though, in Loren druids seems more a race than a class. I think the safest thing is just to change the class name in SOTW for now
If I remember well though Myrth was an Elder Druid, so could be different from a normal Druid. I need to replay a bit Myrth dialogues to check!

Ah wait found it:
my "I'm not particularly sure how best to describe my nature ... I am not truly a sprite like the nymphs, but I am also born different from humans and elves."
my "I feel as if I am one with the forest. As if I {i}am{/i} the forest, like I am her voice."
my "But the term \"druid\" has been applied to anyone who studies and is capable of forest magic, and that is what my lineage is called."
my "I know it's common to think of me as a magical creature born from a flower, but druids are similar to both humans and elves. I was born from my mother's womb, not a giant flower, like a nymph."
I highlighted the line in bold. So I think even in SOTW there can be druids, since they have studied forest magic. They're normal elves that choose that path.
Myrth is definitely some kind of "special druid" though. In the sequel she can also wear normal clothes, looking more human  (and less sexy! )

If one of your parents or grandparents (or, hey, great grandparents) was a druid, then you can practice druid magic and can call yourself a druid. Myrth is unique in that she is a PURE druid, meaning she has never had human/elf/etc blood in her family tree, only other pure druids.

So what's so special about her racially aside from her forest clothes? Does the forest speak through non-pure Druids too? Or only pure ones.

She can't be entirely unique or she'd be the last of the pure Druids. There has got to be at least one pure male druid out there still. Or does she somehow pollinate herself?
