Unfortunately, Professor Tasque is too distracted by the worldwide beard shortage to be interested in love. When the chins of the world are bare of hair, how can he think of mortal concerns like "love" and "romance"? Clearly he cannot. (Seriously, look over the sprite previews Jack's shown...)
Ah, so he's a noble soul tortured by the highest of ideals. Just when I thought I couldn't be any more enamored than I already am...

Thanks to this, now I have an image of Anne as Indiana Jones, jumping over a trap to grab the sacred beard in the nick of time from a faceless monk that's guarding it (Brotherhood of the Blessedly Beardless ofc). But the dastardly monk manages to break off the bottom part and then everyone ends up sporting a glorious mustache instead ( Ron Swanson style). Bittersweet ending or a perfect one? That's for Tasque to decide.

As a bonus secret, just for the forums, I can now confirm the first names of the professors. This doesn't come up in the game (because why would it?), but they are:
James Tasque
and
Merideth Merriweather

Don't say I never gave you any sneak peeks! ;)

Ooh, I like the updates. And after reading through some of the other threads, I am very happy to see that Isabella is available as a GxG romance. :D

Writer sent me some introduction for each character, simulating the college interview for each one. In the next day will post some introductory images for all of them with the texts :)

I think there's only one more student assessment left, counting the one that went on twitter. There are other side characters, but they're not students, so the motif doesn't work for them.

I'm in the home stretch now, working on the last quarter. I was writing some dates last night. Gonna start working on the last quarter's sub-arc next day or two.

Once the last quarter's done, it's just incidental stuff while we get it coded and the backgrounds in, etc, etc.

There will be skills and relationships, and we're thinking to use a weekly scheduler like Flower Shop games. Originally we were thinking about a map system but the scheduler fits better the gameplay, especially since the game has a big timespan (autumn/winter/spring/summer). We have to still define a lot of things but each event can be skipped (except a few important ones) to regain energy. So if you want to get the "best endings" which involve doing well at school/finding your path in life, you need to balance and skip some scenes (make some choices). But all of this is just theory for now :)
