Have to calm down the enthusiasm a bit since this game will use a new engine (to allow release on iOS/Web/etc) so I don't think will be out this year. First games will release with the new engine will be easier/simpler ones like "Nicole" (similar to Always Remember Me) and Heileen 3

Before I block Amber's Magic Shop form my memory until a later date I was just wondering what the four alignments will be? I got three Good, Neural and Evil but what's the forth?

No the alignments are Dark/Lightness or Evil/Good, but there are two levels. Like Evil, Very Evil and Good, Very Good.

That sounds like a good idea :)
I got so confused when I first read it that's why it took so long to reply
I thought you were saying the "endings" would be like Dark-Evil, Dark-Good, Light-Evil, Light-Good. Doesn't sound like a bad idea but how you was gonna do that was beyond me! Glad I reread it

Already plan to romance Daniel.

I know you're still narrowing down the writers, but what will some of the characters be like, personality-wise?

Well is a bit hard for me to describe the personality, but here it goes:
Daniel - wants to succeed as powerful wizard/alchemist since he's the son of Haros, one of the most renowned magician of the whole town.
Stan - is a spoiled prince who is bored of his easy life but at same time pissed because of his father continuously watching over him controlling every move, so he'll appreciate any occasion/excuse to stay with Amber
Bernard - he is of humble origins and as he grows up he'll become a bounty hunter but he'll have hard time to understand where's the line between evil monster or just "different creatures". He wants to fight for the good but he'll wonder who he is really fighting for
Ruby - sexy vampiress who has a crush for Amber, but since vampires are hunted in town they'll need to be very careful to not get discovered

in the game there are several themes like racism, immortality, fame/humble, and so on. So definitely not a game for younger audience I think :)

Okay~! *cracks knuckles* time to start on this game as well! XD I know I said it before but I'll say it again, bravo for her being a dark elf PC! There needs to be more of those!

First off, honestly, I'm glad that you got the same artist for Loren to illustrate for this one as well. Everyone seems to love his work, including myself a lot (I think I said it once before to) and he's become a staple of the Aravorn series. I can't wait to get to the adult part of the game truth be told. Glad it will still be used for the yuri path but maybe have an option like on Loren that you can have it all through the game? Hmm, be unique if the guys could/would comment on it to and some blush (especially Thomas =d ) but wishful thinking.

Reading the posts I do hope that this does do well and possibly a small RPG element will be added as well as the other romanceables. I noticed someone mentioned it as well and you should really look into the Atelier series, that the type of RPG and gathering game people thing of when they think alchemist+anime (wiki with info here: http://atelierseries.wikia.com/wiki/The ... eries_Wiki). My brother knows my tastes to well and was like 'Your going for Thomas aren't you?' and I laughed and replied 'Let me guess, you'd go for either Ruby or Vin' and he was like 'Hell ya!' He has a thing for the mature/strong/capable type. XD He even said that Manuel was cool looking. (ps. he ADORES Loren. XD When I play he's like 'Hey, there's my hot black haired chick. She reminds me of Miranda.' He LOVES Miranda from Mass Effect.)

As it stands though I'll probably go for Daniel, love megane guys =d (shota comes first though) but as with other games, personality always comes first.

You know on another though, instead of an RPG'ish element why not add a monster fighting/collecting addition?

kinda sparked it in me. There's also a game (which is now sadly not being made) called Monster Rancher which is a casual type game which might be something you might want to look into for maybe ideas. I loved the Pixie (http://monsterrancher.wikia.com/wiki/Pixie) monster. XD There is a TON of different monster types, ranging from Dragon to Mermaid and more unique ones. Like I said you might want to give it a look see and all, just trying to help ya out is all. There's also a Harvest Moon'ish type game where you can catch monsters and they'll help you in battle and on the farm by the same creators of Harvest Moon called Rune Factory.

I also noticed that there will be bittersweet/sad endings you said but also happy ones. I despise the bittersweet/sad ones. >.< Please tell me that at least one of the 4 possible endings is 'happily ever after' cliche'ish with one of the paths with all the love interests?

I know this is probably A LOT to read but well, I hope I help and you do consider some. ._.

Thanks for the suggestions. Some points:
- adding a new romance is really not possible, because as I said each character has FOUR different ending, each one with his own CG! So adding a new one in practice means adding 4 new CGs... and is really a lot. Of course if the game does well I could consider doing something like a DLC/add-on
- the RPG element. The problem is not really coding, since I could reuse Loren system, but the art. Unless I use another artist for the enemy/monsters, which could be possible indeed. Just as example, Loren had like 60-70 monsters and took 4 months to draw/color them all!
- bittersweet endings, if you follow the True Light or Light path the ending will be nice/happy. If you follow the Darkness on the other hand .... MOUHAHAHA!!
