As for Holy-based...wouldn't it depend upon the individual? As I see it (and if I'm wrong, please correct me, and forgive me) both Ruby and Thomas are on the side of Good, or are at least neutral. Therefore, wouldn't they be OK if they went into a Temple or something?

The things I see as harming a Vampire no matter what (aside from sunlight, in Aravorn) would be a wooden stake through the heart (instant "re-death" for lack of better term) and pure water (perhaps having the same effect as a corrosive acid on human skin).

Oh, and being misrepresented as sparkly pretty-boys wearing lipstick and inexplicably not having shirts on...psychological harm.

Actually, I am kind of confused by that. I think you'd have one type of blood but traits from three different species?

It is used in the manufacture of Death Knights, duh. We need a whole army of them.

Obviously it wouldn't be a common item. Might indeed be one of the items required for the "final quest" since you'd need many rare stuff.
