Obviously it wouldn't be a common item. Might indeed be one of the items required for the "final quest" since you'd need many rare stuff.
Could be some kind of demon magic charm, given those ingredients. Infuse the essence of dead death knights into a cursed necklace or something. Or maybe since death knights are undying, this is the source of those +hp regen rings from Loren.
This is a big hint and the only thing I'll post about Amber's main quest. Don't ask for more info!
Ah, so we're playing the origin of the Dark Elf/Real Elf split, where we "accidentally" poison Grandtree with demon blood.

Of course, I couldn't avoid to make a complex spreadsheet to balance everything as usual

basically I'm trying to make sure that players would still be able to make a profit even not doing the quests (though it would be a bit weird to be honest).
In the game there should also be random fluctuations of the items values, so the numbers above are just the "untouched default values". But of course they won't remain like that the whole game...

So if we're selling items and there's a war/shortage of goods or something, does that mean we can raise our prices?
And actually, how much of this is a simulation? If we flood the market by making a ton of copper ingots, does that lower the value of copper ingots (thus encouraging us to make something else)?

Yes, though in practice it's not like you'll raise your prices, the item prices will raise automatically (would be a pain otherwise). This is for mostly for raw resources. The items you craft, you decide your price

And yes I'll have some mechanics to lower prices if you flood the market with one specific thing, maybe with some minimum/maximum values though. Like even if you flood the market with Mitrhil Ingots, the price could lower but never go below 100 (assuming someone is mad to keep making them at loss!).

Fine, but we reserve the right to speculate as to what's happening.
It would seem, for instance, that maybe she's trying to craft a potion that removes demons' blood from Dark Elves. (Maybe too obvious a conclusion to be correct, but then again there's the concept of Occam's Razor: the simplest explanation is usually the best one [then again, just that: usually].)
I'm most confused, though: this takes place several years after Loren, and (for those ho haven't played)
Soooo...yeah.

How is "liquid gold" an ingot?

In Loren's sequel, you'll see that dark elves aren't welcomed everywhere. That Loren's slavery changes aren't welcome either between the amazons themselves.
It's not like they turned a magical switch ON/OFF

"OK, from tomorrow, no dark elf will be ever treated badly by anyone!". Hop, done. Would be too unbelievable even in a fantasy world

Those tags can be displayed to user or hidden, so in that case I just put ingot since it's the result or refining ore. But of course it's not an ingot

And also that's still work in progress

...OK, I can see that, but what I still don't get is that the very...city(?) the noble made mention of is no longer off-limits; I would imagine between that being such a huge thing (and therefore the news would've had to spread like wildfire) and the fact that several years had passed that everyone would know by that point.
So it doesn't make sense to me that this guy is so against poor Amber just b/c she looks different.

I think in other games, like SOTW or even Queen Of Thieves, I mentioned the fact that yes, dark elves are more or less accepted in Grandtree. But Icesilia is far away from Grandtree, and after Loren 2 events, everything is a bit of a mess (human empire collapses and is split into region/city-states etc).
Besides it's not like elves are robots: even Myrth welcomes dark elves to Grandtree, and even if many agree with her, there are still a lot of "Mr. Evil Elf" who think Myrth is stupid and they would like instead to kill dark elves babies

They're living beings, each one with his own mind / opinion about every matter, including what to do with dark elves! Even in Amber, she will be treated differently because she is dark elf both by elves and humans. There will be elves that hate her, other that love her (ahem, Lair is one) and other humans that dislike her as well, etc.
