I don't understand what you mean
Yes of course you can buy and sell ingredients any day of the game. For buying, depends what's available. For selling, you can sell what you have.
A simple way to make money will be to use the gather ingredients option and then resell them at the various vendors.
The new vendor system is much better than the one used in Loren: you can "mark" items to sell and then click "complete transaction".
For example, you have 100 gold. You check to sell 5 items for 50 total. But you see some more items you like worth 25. You don't need to first sell, then buy. You can just mark the ones you want to buy, then the ones you want to sell, and click "complete".
So at least the process of buying/selling will be less painful :)

What I meant was when there's a thing such as:
"Orc Raids ransacked the last caravan from Everburn. Coal, Dwarven Coal and Everburn Lava prices increases globally!"
that if a player has more Coal, Dwarven Coal and/or Everburn Lava than they need they could sell for less than what other vendors in the game were asking for. :)

The new buying/selling process sounds cool...but I did just think of one more q. (sorry that this always seems to happen! )--will there by any chance be bartering/trading kinds of options in this game?
Ex.: A player has an overflow of Coal. Someone else needs Coal badly, and has more Glittering Dust than they know what to do w/--could a trade be made since that would benefit both of them? :)

It's just a vendor screen, with prices, like the RPGs, except with that new "tagging system". So it's not like you can actually barter, of course if the items prices/quantities are similar that's what will happen in practice :)

speaking of the vendor I'm doing some tweaks to the GUI, I hope it will be clear enough?
In practice, the "Complete Transaction" button is highlighted only if your money - transaction amount > 0.
So in that case, I have 100 gold, I am buying 3 "Gold Nameless God Settings" for 97 gold, so once I click on complete I'll be left with 3 gold. For me as coder is clear but wondering what people think? :o

Something that isn't entirely clear for me are the numbers in parentheses @ the bottom of each of the settings--what do they mean, and why are there 2 of them?

Side note: Ibnesti and Ekwayla--these...deities(?) that Amber has figurines of--who are they?

The first number is the current price, the second is the full/regular price. Third is the discount. I am not sure if I'll keep them in the final game, right now was useful to see if the random/seasonal events were working.
Regarding the deities - did you know there's a WIKI!?!?

Good reading, there's a lot of info there :)

Having read up on them both...Ibnesti sounds decidely EVIL!!! :o Which brings about at least 3 qs.: wouldn't crafting figurines built to honor those such as her be an act of evil on Amber's part?

Couldn't such conflict w/ if she crafted objects to honor forces for good?

If someone who was far on either side were to notice she had 1 or more objects venerating a god/goddess/demon/demoness couldn't that turn them against her--w/ potentially harmful consequences, even? :? (Unless, of course, these things would be kept out of the view of everyone but those she crafted them for; if that's the case, nevermind that q.)

Well a wooden figurine is just a symbol. Some of those Gods are evil, but at least in this game it's not like they have any "special power". They would require a full ritual to be imbued by any dangerous power.
Spoiler:
Or if you remember Queen Of Thieves, have at least a small piece of the God/Goddess in question. Without it, could be dangerous but not more than a mage using magic to do evil things.
So nobody is going to be particularly upset or wary of it, maybe nobody would want to wear in public though :)
