You're right! After all, someone is bound to discover some spell that helps this situation... Like, Chamb's using her shapershifting abilities to temporarily change Elenor in to a guy just to make the baby and then reverse back? Or maybe just a spell... Now I can't unthink that Idea! I'm imagining a Loren-Elenor baby with slight pointed ears and dark hair! Ow, my fangirly Heart ! T___T I
So need to draw this like right now!^________________________________________________^

I'm going to start planning the art for next RPGs probably at end of this month, so I am thinking (also based on this poll results) to have Loren sequel happen a few years after the first game. This way I could reuse a good amount of the art (of course all the new romance will have custom art!) and so would also be able to do the steampunk RPG art in a decent amount of time. I know is weird to plan the art now for game that will be out next year, but Loren's art took 10months to be finished, so... better plan it now

If the beings in Aravorn are similar to earth based humans then both Loren and Elenor would have XX chromosomes which would mean that a pairing of the two would result in an XX female. I'm not saying that magically you couldn't have Elenor producing a Y chromosome, but, it would be way easier to leave her as XX and just use X gametes while changing her outward appearance to male. Or you could do the same thing with Loren if you wanted her to be the "father".
Where am I going with this? If you could use the magic path but only produce female offspring then it could result in Loren being the originator of a super line of Amazon queens which would do away with the battling of the queens to the death to see who rules. If the Amazons became a hereditary monarchy through the Loren/Elenor line then I could see a whole sequel based on the change of Amazon society whereby the regular Amazons become much more like regular Aravornians, and the Monarchy being tied to hereditary succession through females. The natural result of Loren the Amazon Princess would be for Loren to end up leader of the nations allied to fight Fost. It could be an interesting story/game with the Aravornian conspiracy, made up of people from the empire, elves and regular amazonians, trying to overthrow the Amazonian Monarchy which would be allied with wizards and demons.
Just letting my imagination run wild.

I agree. There's definitely some problems with the chromosomes, but your solution (the female line) could cover this. I have to say that the possibility of having a full female line of sucession would be interesting, since the changes made by the end of the game would be gradual
. By the way, that idea was great, it somehow reminds me of Game of Thrones, with their conspiracies and all... Not to mention the potential for some wonderful storytelling, just imagine, a game where you could play by the empire/elves/amazonian/demon/whatever side, do assassinations missions, manipulation tatics and so where your interference could shape a new political situation on Aravorn?
And what of the other lands(like the ones covered in Spirited Heart)? Would they have any interference? Just think of all possibilities... T___T
Oh, and Mesphit will be romanceable in the expansion, so no worries ^_________^

You know today wrote the storyboard for the first scene of the sequel because got the inspiration. Of course when we'll actually get to write it, at least 10-12 months will pass (have a lot of other games to finish) so could be completely changed, but in my plans, Mesphit is not even present because either was killed, or he ran away! (mouahha I've just started a flamewar)
For the playable characters, I wanted to keep some old characters, but also introduce new ones already seen in the first game like Breza and Jul, and completely new ones. But I have hard time to decide which to eliminate from the first game... I was thinking for sure Apolimesho & Karen, but I think no matter what I'll decide there will be complaints
An alternative would be to just keep all of them, and simply add new ones, though you would need to select maximum 14 to play with

Don't worry, it's not definitive, that's just what I was thinking to do. If he turns out to be a very popular character (seems very likely) after the expansion is out, probably doesn't make much sense for me to "kill him" in the sequel!

No matter what you do with eliminating characters, someone is going to be upset. My list for eliminating would be Apolimesho, Karen, Dora, Ramas and Myrth. Apolimesho because I have a hard time with his name; Karen because it was time for her to retire anyway; Dora and Ramas because they are off building a life together; Myrth because she has to look after the forest and be the elder druid ( I also think she became something of a recluse in later life because she developed an inordinate fear of hedge trimmers). I vote for keeping Mesphit out of the sequel

and I am really looking forward to having Breza and Jul included.

Well you know that's almost the same list I had in mind, with the exception of Myrth even if what you say makes sense. Adding Breza and Jul would also need to add some more hot boys as well so I could keep Mesphit and add some new ones. I even thought to have the opposite gender PC appear in the game, so if you play as Elenor, you'll recruit Saren, and vice versa.
Anyway, for now I am still in the brainstorm stage, thinking over and over what would be the best solution
