And I use Rei-Amukiki to advertise the quests because I think they could be the most interesting personal quests, even if I think depends on players tastes (which characters they liked most)...

No you're right, Amber takes place several years after Loren but also, in a different continent from Loren (there are no Amazons for example, or dwarves). I want to think that while there's racism, is different / varies from place to place to different degree. Still, dark elves would be very uncommon, and while they would be not "hated" they would minimum cause curiosity in the other people (humans, elves). Also, like in real life (sadly) there would be some idiot who could be a racist even if in general the society has accepted them.

Ah, that's true. Making it a whole other continent would definitely explain things.

We still have a lot of racism and xenophobia in our world and we are all the same species - it would be way harder to bring different species together, so I would think racism wouldn't disappear in Aravorn ...........everjack1974 wrote:No you're right, Amber takes place several years after Loren but also, in a different continent from Loren (there are no Amazons for example, or dwarves). So true (and sad). Well, since I am telling a story, maybe one day will find a solution for the problem, since at least in fantasy worlds anything is possible

Just in my opinion, because I don't own Aravorn:Jim1958 wrote:We still have a lot of racism and xenophobia in our world and we are all the same species - it would be way harder to bring different species together, so I would think racism wouldn't disappear in Aravorn ...........ever
It's true they're seen has different "species" but they're not. In order for that to be true, they'd have to have come from different places .
Spoiler:
Sorry, that was an interesting topic for me.

No I love this topic! More inter-breeding please!

Yes that's an interesting topic, though I guess that what Fost reveals at end of the game is just something between him and the party. So not everyone could know about that except a few "chosen ones"

That opens some interesting possibilities as well. We know that Fost is a fallen, but a fallen what. Here's an ideaAleema wrote:Just in my opinion, because I don't own Aravorn:Jim1958 wrote:We still have a lot of racism and xenophobia in our world and we are all the same species - it would be way harder to bring different species together, so I would think racism wouldn't disappear in Aravorn ...........ever
It's true they're seen has different "species" but they're not. In order for that to be true, they'd have to have come from different places .It's established that they can inter-breed, but I believe it was asked at one point if they are like mules and cannot produce children of their mixed lineage. In a happy world, they can. So I want to believe that Draco can have little half-half-elf babies if he wanted to. Druids and demons, however, are magical races so they are an exception.Spoiler:

Re: In a hypothetical sequel...
So, today artist finished all the art for Bionic Heart 2, so I had to give him more work. I mean, it's probably not the best moment for me (too hot and lots of other projects to follow), but I really cannot imagine another art-style for Loren's sequel so... I've started him on the sequel art!
For now I only had him redraw Rei in a more sexy outfit, Breza in a more warrior-like pose/outfit, Amukiki with a real armor (lol) and some pictures of Jul that will be surely used in the story. To be honest, I have in mind the story a bit but still need to flesh out the details.
The only thing I can say for sure is:
- will take place shortly after the 1st game (few years). this doesn't mean I won't do a prequel for sure though, I liked the idea
- main theme will be demons being accepted between humans
- there will be a lot more playing character outfit customization, and a 4th class. There will be a distinction between Mages and Healers. PC can choose any of those 4 classes
- the PC will be the also the main leader this time
- right now 6 of the characters present in the first game will be in the second, though I have yet to decide exactly who, I'm still thinking about it. But Rei & Amukiki for sure. Also some that weren't recruitable but present like Breza & Jul

Re: In a hypothetical sequel...
Well after hours spent thinking I've decided the only sane way to do this was to use an infamous canon ending. The variables were simply too much to take into account. Beside I would need to have a canon ending anyway, since
