I think the Warrior/Thief/Mage should just have either Heal(me being tight, maybe they suddenly lost the ability over the Years/Months mysteriously *last side quest/story alert* You gain back your healing after the quest (healers gain a powerful staff or robe)) or the same as the first game.

Well all classes could still have some heal form, but the Healer class would be the most powerful one of course, while the other could have some form of basic healing, but not very powerful. This time playing as Mage you should be able to dish out a good amount of area damage which sounds cool already

It seems almost a joke... this morning got email of 3rd colorist, and he said can't promise to finish the images before next SUMMER / AUTUMN....

I mean there are a lot of images for sure, but normally he was much faster. Of course, because Loren 2 is a cursed game and must never come out, he had some personal problem (not excuses) and voilĂ .
If continues this way will be lucky if the game comes out in 2015 or out at all... at this point consistency in coloring is a vague dream (I hope I won't have to find yet another colorist after spending so much money on each of them).
BAH

An example of what I'm talking about:

3 different coloring styles

but as said, is either that or no game at all. Welcome to indie world! haha and thinking I even pay artist twice vs all other visual novel / RPG developers... maybe I should start paying them less, since being nice doesn't pay

Well I had troubles with every single game for a reason or another, but this one is starting to break all records, and we didn't even begin writing/coding it!

I think it's nice that Loren can get a tan being a busy queen and all

I think it looks fine so far, and Loren looks great with that sexy tan she has.
Though you really do need to find reliable people to work with, I mean you have Kittycat and Deji and I'm sure others, but it also seems like there are some that aren't good Jack, you deserve better then to have people flake on you.
I can tell you're such a nice guy Jack, but you need to put your foot down at some point, when this is your livelihood we are talking about here, not to be talking lightly.

Yes, the problem is that even reliable person can change or have problems. I mean, for sure, in some cases is all people's fault, in other is just bad luck or a downside of working from distance.
The whole first game, apart the romance CGs was colored by a person and did a great job, always on time. Now I don't hear about him since 2 months at least. So I am not even really sure what happened, hope nothing bad...
So unless you can work with someone that you know personally and lives nearby like my friend Tom of Moacube, it's really hard to know what will happen.
My biggest regret was not working fulltime with Rebecca (Heileen artist) since she is the most reliable person ever. If she said would finish all art by date X, she would always do it in time, not even one single day of delay. But as happens, such reliable people like Deji for example gets lots of requests, so sometimes are booked for months...
Don't want to bother you with what happens behind the stages, but thought to give you a glimpse of what means being indie. Now I understand why so many just do those "trendy pixelart games"

Thank you for giving us a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes, I like hearing about it, so if you're willing to sharing I'm more then willing to listen
yeah, people who are reliable and quality like Deji etc are always so booked up because of that very reason, what dev wouldn't want to have a great on time artist or writer etc.
