Those naga look pretty neat!

ANd well, people have found ways for lamias and mermaids to be... *ahem* romancable in that way in some other kind of games... the same idea probably works for Nagas. *coughs*

I'm sure we'll still find a way to fall in love with them regardless. It's hopeless, Jack. Us fangirls (and fanboys I suppose) are just too insane. :D
Sylrissa wrote:Me too!, naga have been my favorite fantasy race for a long time, but they are always shown as evil monster .

And there is so much more to love then our parts matching up!.

But this is coming from a woman that found that hunky turian Garus really attrative in Mass effect XD, so my opinion is far from the mainstream I imagine.
It's true, isn't it? Sadly, I can't think of any games with good Nagas (You can use them in games like persona, but it's not like they're officially allied with the forces of good or anything). I guess somebody needs to fix that and go make a Naga dating sim. :D *shot*

Who am I to judge? I went for Thane and stuck with him through 3. Garrus is probably the better one to go for though since he's a party member in all three games. More screen time. That and he's just plain awesome! Who doesn't love that dashing turian?

Still, my dream romance option would have been Mordin. I love the heck out of that Salarian! I mean, I understand why he isn't romance-able, but he was totally my favorite character (followed very closely by Wrex)

Gotta say, the aliens were more interesting than the human characters in those games. I mean, I still like the humans, but I don't get excited about them.

P.S. I'm in love with Javik's voice!
Rinvee wrote:Oh, please. I still can't get over Arishok from DA2. Religious fanatics ain't my type but damn! Those horns were so sexy.
And now I see too-hot-to-be-enemies nagas. *sigh* Please, if not romancable, at least give some flirting options
The Arishok is flippin' sexy! I would have romanced the heck out of him if he was a viable option. Sadly, the plot makes it impossible. Still, I love Fenris and Anders so I was okay (Though, my first choice would have been Carver. Yes, I know he's my brother in the game but I want him! *shot*)

I want Cullen to be a romance option too. I'd make a mage character to date him. :D

o.O Those Nagas are adorable! The male naga's head is rather Bishonen, and arguably the prettier of the two with its more delicate forehead and more graceful jaw angle. You could put that head on the female version and nobody would bat an eyelash.

They do remind me more of Lamia Nobles from D&D then Nagas which usually aren't drawn with arms. Of course Lamia Nobles are always female, and usually a bit more evil-looking than these, but otherwise the look matches up. I'm specifically reminded of the old Al Qadim D&D adventure where a lonely, and very lovely, Lamia Noble sorceress named Ophidia may be convinced to help the pc's, and possibly even romances one of them if the pc isn't turned off by her snake-like lower body. :P She avoids physical intimacy because her kiss is dangerous however. What the pc's don't know, and what they'll find out only if they let her help them is that she's actually a former princess who was cursed by her peoples' gods for her evil deeds. After thousands of years being trapped in the form of a snake-woman, she's changed however. Helping the pc's is just the latest in a long series of acts of contrition and atonement for her, and if all goes well, the fulfillment of the quest results in her curse being lifted. Suddenly one lucky pc finds himself with a smart, drop dead gorgeous girlfriend if he treated her well.

Can we trade our lizard gal Selith for a snake gal? :P

Delving into snake anatomy, biologically speaking female snakes (and lizards for that matter) have cloaca's which structurally aren't very different from what human women have aside from the fact that it's covered by a scale instead of a fold of skin. Some snakes even bear live young. The male snake part might be a bit more "interesting" however, the hemipenes has -two- erectile heads, although only one is usually used at a time. The spines and hooks that are sometimes attached to the hemipenes (depending on the snake species) to keep the male anchored in place (real snakes don't have hands, remember) might be a bit problematic however for the non-masochistic. :? Of course it would be pretty straightforward to say Nagas never needed to develop them because they have hands, or that only some do, and the potential love interest is among those that don't. 8)

I live for this type of discussion, well maybe not, but they're a lot of fun, especially when you inadvertently threw down the gauntlet by making a romanceable lizard gal with scales while saying that the same sort of relationship with a snake gal would be "a bit difficult". The lack of legs might drastically change the positions available, and I can only imagine what the artists would come up with for CG's  , but I'm not convinced that the act itself would necessarily be any more difficult than it is with a lizard gal.....

Haha yes. Someone posted on twitter something like "since demons were enemies in Loren1 and in Loren2 you can romance one (Jul), does it means that in Loren3 you'll romance a Naga?". You know it's really not a bad idea now that I think about it. Of course the third chapter *if* gets released might be out around the year 2017-18 or so

There's an entire monstergirl kind of series of... things, and trust me, they have long figured out ways for lamias/snake-tailed monstergirls to do the deed

Speaking of monstergirls, there's actually a Japanese eroge VN called Monster Girl Quest with naga-like female as very important character.

But the first thing that came to my mind was the D&D marilith

Oh she's cute, The reason I don't look into much about eroge VN games is since they tend to target male audiences and thus have male protagonists which I can't relate to.
