There was a strategy guide but didn't cover the battle tutorial. However I'm quite surprised you had no problem with Loren combat which is much more complex than Planet Stronghold ?thezooqueen wrote:Can I make a suggestion for planet stronghold 2? Instead of a fast paced brief tutorial make also a downloadable guide book. I understood the tutorial but it did not cover everything clearly. Or I suggest popup tips when you mouse over things that you have the option to turn off later. Just a suggestion. <3

Re: Loren: The Sequel
When do we get to see the Mage and Healer outfits? I am loving the previews, I have always loved Elenor's Short hair.
Eye patch is cool! Maybe there could be a back story on it or something? Death of a close friend (keepsake), damage to eye in battle, memento of lover, award for passing some amazon trial. Just some thoughts on how to keep the add-ons relevant to the story. Or they could just have dodgy taste in clothes and accessories.

I'll post more previews in next months but slowly, since the game won't be out soon

Re: Loren: The Sequel
Why did I not see this sooner? XD
I love Elenor's hair like that. And even though I'd like to see her with long hair, it just won't fit -- since she's fighting all the time, it's best to keep it out of her face, or better, cut it to non-existence.
Fits her background as a (former) slave too. I think it's also the reason why Loren doesn't have that long of hair too, since hairclips and headbands don't exist that time, lol. As for Karen, she has an excuse to look womanly at least a little -- duh, she's Queen.
To get back to topic, I like her clothes <3 She looks more like a pirate and less like a thief actually.
Now that I look at it... Elenor's crossbow seems to shout a certain blond elf's name aloud 8D
As for Saren's eye patch? I don't like it. =\ It's just decorative so it looks silly with him wearing one, and plus it sort of impairs his fighting too, once you look at it. No fighter wants to be blind in one eye. XDD

I agree with you on all of your points but this one! Georg Prime From Suikoden 5 Worn an eye patch as to hone his skills as swordsmen. and he's the best!kuracha-macha wrote:

Well, in any case remember is just an aesthetic choice, made more to offer variety of clothes to the player

If what you said is true about honing skills using the eyepatch, maybe we can get additional fighting points when it is worn? XDDD
Variety of clothing choices? This has the tendency to be part dress-up game. XDjack1974 wrote:Well, in any case remember is just an aesthetic choice, made more to offer variety of clothes to the player

I do really appreciate when the characters in RPGs look different when wearing different clothing/armour.
A game can be good without it, but it's that added bonus that really adds to the experience.

Re: Loren: The Sequel
It is a nice touch, although recently I've begun to think in many RPGs, equipment merely exists for the player's convenience, when in reality the characters are using... well, not what their equipment menu says. Because I'm sure, as an example, many people had Loren use heavy armor when I think, story-wise, she wore light armor (not to mention, her outfit is basically light armor).Sylrissa wrote:I do really appreciate when the characters in RPGs look different when wearing different clothing/armour.
