Yes the easiest choice would have been to tell another hero's tale. Very likely after Loren 2, Elenor/Saren "legend" will be done (so next titles will be easier to write).
I like the other storyteller idea, if you remember a while ago (well last year

) I thought that could have been a tale told in a tavern by a bard. Maybe Jariel (a SOTW character).

I think it would be a somewhat interesting way to play as elenor, if saren sacrificed himself (or vice versa). Intro could be you rising up to power from slavery after loren/karen learned from saren's example that slavery is bad and you have been scouted for your talent. Just an idea
Am looking forward to your decisions in wringling up all those branches of the decision tree :D

Now here's a neat idea!
This would solve a whole lot of problems at once. First is the story-arc, along the lines of from rags to riches

If Elenor was the one who saved the world, is powerful etc., the story is somewhat dull. If she was left behind the first time, and now gets taken because Saren is no longer around, she needs to prove her worth. (or vice versa) To Loren, to the rest of the party. And she has more room for development in every direction.
Does also save the issue with the previous romancing, as there would have been none in the slave quarter.
It would also explain why Elenor/Saren is level 1 (even if Loren and the rest are getting downgraded as well, which would not be explained by this - maybe Loren got rusty in the monastery?)
Only problem is that some players will want to continue the last adventure, with the char of the last adventure, instead of beginning a new one.

Not that we don't like the idea of exploring every option, we simply can't. Having two different stories for the PC would mean writing the game twice. Surely you want the game out sooner than that? ;P

Yes indeed, it will be already HUGE as it is planned!

is the game with the biggest amount of CG art already....

OK this is probably me asking for trouble

but is so cool, that I didn't want to keep it just for ourselves:

look at the amazing character creation! you can choose two main outfit each class, change clothes color, hat/accessories, weapons. YES THIS GAME IS GOING TO RULE, IN CASE IT WASN'T CLEAR.

Small questions, when do you think the game will be out? How much you think you will charge on it?
Sorry if those seem a little bit....impolite, I have some plans myself this year so yeah, knowing these things beforehand surely help me a lot. I came to Loren a little bit too late so don't really want to miss out this one.

No worries, it won't be this year FOR SURE. It COULD be next year but really now is too early to say anything. But in any case this will need a long beta-testing period, so I doubt you'll miss it - first game beta lasted 3 months

and I'll be sure to announce it properly. As for price I think will go with $25 each "part", since the story, cast, CGs, everything is so big that is enough to fit two parts (or if you prefer two separate episodes/games).

Can we change the hair style too? I'm not really a fan of this particular cut, it's too butch for my taste. I liked her old haircut more. A longer hair option would be great too.

Right now no, I can see if I can add that before the final game, but some outfits (hats and accessories) wouldn't work well with different hairs, so I don't think can change it much

edit: I just remembered, is impossible - since the romance CG have all same hairs and I should redo them all for all the different hairs variants! Changing appearance in 2d games is much more complex than in 3d unfortunately.
