To be honest I don't remember if she is shapeshifting by magic or not, but I think so (maybe is just unspecified so far in the story).

I am from the future, Myrth's ears are actually (censored by the Winter Wolves crew).Madance wrote:But... Are we going to see them someday???????? T____________________Tjack1974 wrote:Myrth's ears are top secret! You've seen anything about her body, except the ears
I always thought she would have slightly pointy ears, like Spok from Star Trek...

Unfortunately, the new appstores TOS rules forbid to show naked ears in games, so I must abide to those new rules!

The future appstores TOS rules undid that ruling, making it a mandatory addition to the games.jack1974 wrote:EmilIrving wrote: I am from the future, Myrth's ears are actually (censored by the Winter Wolves crew).![]()

Of course the controversy was very similar to GTA's hot coffee scandal (luckily you guys avoided it).
Jokes aside, really looking forward to the sequel.

I think the winterwolves crew should design a new datin game, where you can date every npc in the announced and sold gameserkkre wrote:destiny_921 wrote:

If they could make a game like Days of Memories, I would be so happy. Canonically, wouldn't work for anything, but who cares, dating sim!DunKalar wrote:I think the winterwolves crew should design a new datin game, where you can date every npc in the announced and sold gamesI bet this would be a river of gold for the crew xD

Re: Loren: The Sequel
Okay, now that I've played the first one through a few times and gotten most of the endings, I guess here are a few "hopes" for #2.
-You've already stated there is potentially the ability to gain skills based on gear. Does that mean side quests that could gain certain characters more skills? (whether it be by a "use only by..." item or whatever) Games like this always have a "strongest/best team combo", but it's a nice bonus to be able to gain extra skills so you can still function with the characters you like even if they aren't the best suited for the situation.
-(continuing from the last point) The only really semi-hidden quests in Loren 1 were the personal quests. Everything else you would sooner or later stumble across as you traveled. I'm not talking anything affecting the story (way too much writing), but a random mini thing here and there to score an item or just gain a bit more gold (to save cheating or grinding for it) would be cool. Stuff like "if you go to this location exactly in between these 2 story points/flags (with no hints or promts saying you should) you can stop a bandit raid or something. (stuff you can do without needing new artwork or unique programming)
-the one below, I hope you don't answer here...just food for thought:
Anywho, there's my 2 cents.

Honestly I'm not sure what you're getting at. But let me try answering anyway. Equipment with special skills will probably be the exception, just for the real powerful stuff. While it's far too early to give anything definite we are trying to give a bit more leeway to shape the characters. Everything's still up for grabs though, we're just brainstorming at the moment.ill_intent wrote:-You've already stated there is potentially the ability to gain skills based on gear. As for your spoiler; Jack has already announced that Sare/Elenor get promoted to protagonist.

Re: Loren: The Sequel
Sorry about the vague wording of the gear related question.
Earlier on (I don't remember where), it had been said the game engine/system already had the ability to have gear that grants unique skills. It just wasn't used.
So, with that in mind, I was asking if it was going to be used....whether as gear anyone could use or as gear usable only be a specific person. Something that can change the existing balance of a character.
An example being: A wizard rod that grants an x# turn "defense up" skill on themselves so a wizard has the possibility of temporarily not being made of glass (without forcing a 2nd buff character to be in the party).
Or: A situation where Amukiki can choose to acquire a ring (that only he can use) that either raises elemental resistance OR increases his speed. (an item that doesn't contribute to his obvious damage, physical defense or hp bonuses he would get anyway)
I know people can already choose to stat a character in any way they choose. Give a wizard nothing but strength just so they have a billion hp and can break their staff off in some poor enemy's nether-region. But 99% of players just aren't going to do it. So, a bit of gear here and there tempt people to try pointing their characters in new directions gives replay value to the game.
The "for this character only" gear in Loren 1 didn't really change much for each character. It just made them better at what they already did. Which is pretty much just a short cut for grinding a few more levels. I was just curious, as there's been talk already of "increased customization", if gear-related methods where being considered.
