All of my computers have Loren in it, so no harm done, and yes I keep save games in my flash drive so what.
My PC breaks a lot, and it might not be applicable, but I know several units that lasted for years and isn't breaking at all. I think you can actually finish Loren's sequel before any PC breaks XD

But well, maybe you can give a choice to either load a savegame or do the "how the first game ended" test before starting? Or maybe it will let you load a save game when it detects some in the PC. Just my two cents.

No because the save game is tied to the game. I can't just load on Loren2 or Planet Stronghold 2 a save from the first game, it wouldn't be compatible. The only way would be to store some custom fields on the computer HD when the first game ends, but at that point I'd rather use a choice system in the beginning of the new game than make an update on the old games only for that

Ah, I see! O: I'm sorry for suggesting such a silly thing, I don't know much about coding ^^; It is a lot of work just making the choice system in the first part make sense, after all. And I just realized that most of those "loading savegames from prequel" games do make the player save before quitting, that must be what you were talking about about storing custom fields.

Yes, it's not that it can't be done, but I think the system I'm going to use is simpler for me, and also for the players

Also it adds the benefit off not having to replay through the whole game 1 again. (Even if I will be playing through game from time to time, because I enjoy it. I might not have time to go the whole way to the ending each time).

Of course now I am curious about the spoilery stuff. I guess there is no chance that you will reveal it, since it was spoilery.

Well is everything in the game (+ expansion). But in practice:
1) previous romance (or none)
2) Well actually was shorter than I thought! But everything can still change from now to when we'll write the game. The only sure choice right now is the previous romances, for the other we might just go for a "canon ending", since I expect it will be already hard to write with all the previous romances continuation.

Well, I thought it might be that. I will prefer if you can do it of course, but I've seen all those variants an have a save with them all so I guess I could live with it being canonized.

ROFL, today sent Aleema some new sketches for the new romances (from now on I always ask the second opinion of a woman!). I had doubts on some of them, but the comments on Saren / Jul sketches were totally hilarious, I laughed in front of the monitor
I'm probably going to make a collection of the discarded sketches and offer them as a pre-order bonus when Loren 2 will come out, so you can see what we were talking about! Don't get me wrong there is still plenty of sexyness in the game, but since this time I don't want people to judge it only for the sexy aspect, we have two version of the ending CG that can be played also by everyone (with full clothes on or only slightly undressed)

Will the collection include commentary from you and everyone else involved? I think some of them would be hilarious, as well as neat in seeing why you decided to include/exclude certain pics.
