What I think will be nice is if the non-combat part checked your stats and could lead to few different outcomes....minor ones.
Few examples as I am sure I am not explaing myself properly:
Spoiler:
In the begining of the game (and it is maybe too soon) if you meet the archwizard and joke or be forcefull with him he begins to turn you to stone...now as I understand it the Will stat give you magic resistance and you could( for some reson:) ) begin your char with lots of Will....which may be still not enoght to make a difference, but it will be nice. And will at most add few lines, as you are surrounded by enemies:)
Second example - maybe more annoying is when you talk to Amukiki in the camp you will have a duel with him. Which is perfect btw:) But after you beat him the dialogue goes on about....don't remember it to be honest, but it was about about being barelly beating him. Which is 'ok' if you engage him early but by the time I did....err....my Elenor left him beaten and bloody with barely a scratch on her:)

*More variety of enemies in tasks and random encounters.
* Omission of Forceful/Friendly/Joking dialogue choices. Planet Stronghold options felt more natural to me.
* Revamped inventory management
* NPCs that can be interacted with to help players learn more about the world or provide opportunities for sidequests

I would love a battle system akin to tactical rpgs like Fire Emblem and explorable maps, but that is probably too much to ask for at this point.

Point 2 and 3 are already planned for next RPGs :)
NPC that interact more shouldn't be a problem too, I mean they're not a problem for coding, but only for adding content (writing, designing new sidequest, encounters, etc). Same for the first point.
Doing a tactical battle system is definitely one of my long-term goals as RPG author, but for sure that won't be possible until after Loren 2 is out. However, already in that game IF I can find reliable artist I could have a sort of compromise: a bigger battlefield displayed as isometric view, still divided into two zones, but you could move the character anywhere and get bonuses (like covers if there's a rock, a tree, etc) or make the area of effect spells more interesting since you could see the effect on the battlefield directly.

I think having a friendship system would be cool. Then in decisions, they will side with you and others against you if you have a bad relationship with them. There could be short cut scenes and opportunities.

A once only skill reset magical tome? Might be hard to code but it would be cool in case you 'messed up' in assigning skill points.

To be honest I'm not really sure how hard would be that feature to code, will need to ask Anima about it.
About the pin-ups if there's time and artist is free might do some for the bonus content edition. Chambara and Mesphit are probably "the most wanted" ones

It wouldn't be hard at all to code. You'd just need a formula to determine the proper number of points based on level for a particular character that the player would be able to spend in the level-up interface. If the characters don't all get the same number of points, then you may need more than one formula. I have no doubt that Anima is up to it.

Oh, and let me add, just because I've voted for a Chamby pin-up when others have brought the possibility up doesn't mean I don't want Loren, Jul, Karen, Breza, Lydia or Myrth pin-ups either. In fact, for me, Loren edges out Chamby in the original game overall, even though I greatly enjoyed Chamby as well, especially when paired with Elenor. I think a major reason why Chamby is so highly wanted as a pin-up is because she was less exposed than the others most of the time in the original game. It certainly doesn't hurt that she's also so naughty in the bedroom. She's kind of like the World of Loren's Betty Page, one of the world's most legendary naughty girl pin-ups.

Hehe I like the comparison with Betty Page, really spot on in this case. Even in the sequel she shows more skin but overall she's not uncovered as Breza for example.
Anyway, now don't expect pin-ups for ALL the characters!
