All future RPG games will be much more similar to Loren than SOTW. Even Roger Steel has a lot of character interaction, skills build up with choices, and fewer battles but sort of "puzzle-based". I think is the right approach, more story + shorter battles + fewer required battles = good stuff (at least I hope!)

I quite like the idea of "alternate canon" stories, just saying

Ok, I have to admit I'm a little thrown for a loop here, but I can definately see where you're coming from. I guess my only concerns are:
1: will Draco still be in the game and
2: will I still get to pick up where I left off with him romance wise?
Because truthfully, one of the things about this game that really REALLY got me excited was the knowledge that I would get to see how their relationship progressed after the end of the first game. So I'm really hoping that you'll keep that option

Any romanceable characters in the first game will be in this one. Just they will participate in the mission in ONE PART of the game (otherwise what, you romance same characters three times?? already 2 times was a big mistake to do).
At beginning of the game you'll have a menu from which you can choose the starting conditions.

So what is the text from Mr.Envy that got you excited? The wait will be hard =P

Well a bit of everything, how he wrote some characters (I like in particular the dualism between Selith and Breza) and Jul's interrogation scene was handled very well too. Plus he added a ratmen character with a beard! The story is still just like 5% finished but can't complain about the quality at all

My most waited games are the ones that will need more time to launch, maybe in 2020 I will have already played Roger Steel, PS2 and Loren 2

Hmm honestly I'm not sure all 3 will be ready by then
