Looking forwards to the Yuri version!
I noticed a couple of issues with the website:
In this game you will be able to college life,
While I love the wording in an "oops I accidentally the college." way, it might be best to specify what it is one can do to college life.
- Four different boys to date: Jeff, Ted, Darren & Kurt
Perhaps I'm just biased, but the TL:DR points at the top should also mention that there will be an equal number of girls to date, instead of relegating that detail to the bottom of the page.

The page is still not checked, I put it together quickly for the preorders

Indeed I missed "you will be able to LIVE the college life"

As for the girls, I'll list them in the separate page of the yuri version, that's why I didn't add it to that page. A bit like Spirited Heart and Spirited Heart Girl's Love:

About the decision of having two separate versions of Nicole, I got an email today that convinced me I'm doing the right thing. A very polite email, but she was complaining that there's too much straight/otome scenes in Heileen 3, and I remember other people (even some big fans here) complained about that (that game was an exception because it wasn't supposed to have a yuri path at all, so the beginning is common and there's really very little yuri content in it).
But anyway, while some people like to play "both sides", I understand that others might want to play ONLY the version they like and paid for, like happens in Spirited Heart for example.

Hi,
For Nicole this would make particular sense due to the bit about the player apparently potentially dating the person responsible for the disappearing girls (hence requiring two different storylines, if the same premise holds true in both cases _and_ is actually backed up by fact, neither of which you are likely to comment on now, I hope.

)
So does that mean that Roommates will use the same approach? (I personally didn't mind that aspect of Heileen 3 and would consider it fine to include some amount of confusion about the protagonist's romantic preferences into the games.)

No for Roommates is like Heileen, but you can choose to "skip events". This because skipping an event will replenish your morale/energy, and also a clever way to let players concentrate only on the characters they want. I haven't coded anything about it yet, but in the texts right now there's a sort of intro, like:
Code: Select all
"You know what, I think this is a going to be a good week. For a change, I'm actually getting out the door without running into something crazy delaying me. The last few weeks have been ridiculous."
"Everyone else has already gone to class, so I lock the door behind me as I head out."
"Or at least... I thought the others had gone off to class. It looks like Sally's coming back..."
if male:
"And she's definitely smuggling something. I know that look very well. Jacket clutched at her chest, eyes darting all over the place, slightly hunched over, like she doesn't want something to fall out."
else:
"She looks really nervous about something. Her eyes are darting all over, and she's walking with a bit of a hunch... I hope she didn't hurt herself."
"I walk out the gate, and give her a wave as I turn toward my class."
sal "Oh! %(pname)s! Umm... Hey! I uh... forgot a book."
if male:
"Wow, she's pretty terrible at lying about it too..."
else:
"Okay, yeah, she's really terrible at hiding things."
"Sally runs past me and heads to the door without looking me in the eye."
"I can tell she's struggling to keep her jacket closed and get into her pockets at the same time."
"I suppose I could go over and help, but that just means getting tied up into whatever crazy scheme she's got going on today..."
"I just don't know if it's worth it."
and then the player can choose if to play the event, or skip it. Is useful also when replaying the game so you can concentrate only on specific characters to unlock the other endings you might have missed

I was wondering if there is an update on the release date?! I'm so excited about this game.

Shouldn't be much, I have two sprites + a CG left from artist, and several scenes I should get from the writer. Once I have them I think could code the rest relatively quickly, like a week maximum (there are also images for the gift to do, but I can start the beta testing without them, since they are just icon images and can be replaced later).
I've also added two new tracks, and I realized that I have a naked torso image of Jeff that isn't used in the story which I plan to add, so need to update the bonus content file with this stuff too
