No I haven't tried that one yet, but I was planning to
I have only a PS4, I know the 3DS has a lot of RPGs but... getting another gaming device is a bit too much right now
Played all of them except Celestian Tales and One Way Heroics
Of course "played" doesn't mean finished, I rarely finish games nowadays. But are of inspiration nonetheless.
If you're looking for games for inspiration, you need to play Pyre. I've never seen an RPG where your decisions and successes AND failures affect the story so much in such seamless ways.
I found Pyre enthralling with the elaborate worldbuilding and the likable characters (Go Ti'zo!). The RPG/sports tournament crossover seemed hit-or-miss for me at first but after a few rounds getting familiar with the mechanics it was great fun. However, I disagree a bit with you about the importance of the decisions and match outcomes within the game as they mostly added flavor text and there was no story branching until the very end. That doesn't make the game any less enjoyable though!
