Game is divided into the four seasons, but they're not even in length, that's why even if I'm mid-way through the first season doesn't mean that I'm at 12,5% of the whole game dev time

I thought to call them that, and probably in the game I'll use that system, but the writer subdivided the season in various files for practical reasons:
scene00_intro
scene01_ninim
scene02_wolf
scene03_demise
scene04_captivity

those are the winter - the first scene is a short intro with a tutorial battle that takes place in Spring, then there's a flashback where the story of Shea/Althea and Vaelis is explained.
During the game as you encounter the new characters, you immediately play their personal quest, in a sort of flashback in which you also learn something more about their past/personality , a bit like Lost. Of course, not everything, and you can't know if everyone is telling the truth

Pfuit the master of pits is a tough guy with no time for romance!!
In that scene you see how people from Dingirra treats slaves (the master has a whip, is a bit hidden by the dialogue window), much worse than what the Amazon did

getting towards the end of the first season. The dialogue changes if you play as Althea obviously, in that case you'll have to rescue your brother... but from who/what!? SUSPENSE!
