Yeah, I'll kick my own ass to work faster instead of thinking about such things. Is already 1st April and I'm a bit behind schedule

Re: about this RPG
I've started adding the Dungeon tileset today, since is used by a sidequest in the first Season
(and of course in others later in the game too)
Had to fix several things myself (not artist fault since I didn't explain how they were used) but now I've almost a full location done:

Re: about this RPG
The enemy formation pre-battle preview now works:

will be a bit more work since I need to define the battles in a funny way (differently from Loren) to make this preview work, but is quite useful so even if is more work overall I'm happy about the result.
OK enough features, now back to coding the first season!!!

Will you work harder with positive feedback, or will you work harder if we say nothing, so you do not need to answer?
Well, let's try positive feedback:
Yay for the battle preview! Yay!
Yay for the progress on SOTW!

*looks at the tile sets*
So, will there be a pedestal to put Shea up so he can do a dance?
It's to trigger a secret door...um, yeah, that's the case

He will work better if we give him feedback because then he realizes his own ideas suck, but then we have to wait extra for him to implement the good ones. It's quite the dilemma
If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

My ideas are THE BEST!!
I think I'll have plenty of feedback once the beta is out

Well, jokes aside, a bit of response from the audience can be motivating. Maybe you do not need it, but you certainly deserve it.jack1974 wrote:Haha I'll work hard anyway, no worries

I am not exactly shy when it comes to bug reports, just read my recent ones for Roommates or Planet Stronghold. However, right now the possibility for issues to report is limited, mainly if a screenshot is confusing or sometimes a spelling error. Or the general idea of RPGs, but we all enjoy them too much for critique.yayswords wrote:He will work better if we give him feedback because then he realizes his own ideas suck, but then we have to wait extra for him to implement the good ones. So right now the feedback is mostly encouragement, and letting jack know there is really a customer base who wait eagerly to buy SOTW. (...if only the beta would start...)
That's what I always say, too. My ideas are the best!jack1974 wrote:My ideas are THE BEST!!
