I'm not going to use royalty free music anymore. I mean maybe for short jingles or some minor background/atmospheric music, but the main tracks are all custom made. I have already 6 tracks done and are very good!

Time for another character. Vaelis:

quite happy about this one. Is not the classic-looking deadly mercenary, is not pin-up, and will be interesting since has a somewhat peaceful appearance, but in reality he's a very good fighter! (No romance option for this one as you know, since all romances have been shown already)

At last our first look at a snow elf... I would have though his skin tone to be more white or blueish in colour (not as dark as dark elves like a baby blue) but that's just the impression I got from the races name.

He's sort of an everyman. If it weren't for the elven ears, he could be one of a number of middle-aged men with receding hairlines that I know. Not the usual elven build.

No the skin is just "pale like snow" (but not really, I tried and they were looking like zombies!), but not blueish otherwise they would be like the dark elves

Yeah I wanted an elf that wasn't the classic "super thin/slender/cool looking/long hair/etc". I think it worked

I like him, strong but disappointed, weary - even though I could see him "snap" and go evil too. (Or maybe not evil, but raze everything in the name of what he considers the "right thing".)

Though maybe he would look more "snowelf" if we follow MarSel's suggestion and try a lighter/blueish color.

Well depends how you imagine "snow elves"
For me the only clear traits are:
- long pointed ears heading up (as opposed to the "other" elves with ears going on the side)
- white/light blue hairs and eyes

I really think making the skin blueish would be too much. Admire Vaelis "Ice Man":

and since the skin is reddish, changing the hue to a more neutral means either desaturating the skin or making it gray more than blue...Believe me, I tried

Hmm OK, I made a test with desaturation only (but not changing hue) and maybe with paler skin could work. The problem is that I'd need to change a lots of poses I'll ask the colorist if he can do it.

Yes paler skin would work but not a killer. Maybe once we see how other Snow elves look it will work but since we have only seen one he just looked like a normal elf. Once we see more with the blue/white eyes and hair it will be more useful. All in all I like his "look" not the usual skinny cute man.
