I like her the way she looks now.
Why? I like big ones, that's why.

Maybe you could just edit out the wings? Shouldn't be too difficult. But then I suppose she'd lose any indication that she's supposed to be, well...not human...
All hail Rei's booty.

I might just do a whole "set" of merfolk people, since artist is finishing a bunch of elves and dwarves now. So next there could be that, including sea nymphs and such.

That sounds like a great idea!, I'd love to see your artists take on merfolk, they've been a personal favourite of mine for awhile.

Yes, I'd like to expand the Aravorn lore even under the seas :)
Meanwhile, on the ground...

the sprite is a card from Undead Lily but was just too good and perfect for this scene so I had to borrow it

I know you used the same picture for Sylphs and Nymphs in Loren 1 as well. I assume each might be a different race... :)

But yeah, I figured there was a race of merfolk :D *ponders a siren seducing the Amazons*

As for the Sand Devil, I did say some of the monsters from Undead Lily looks like they would fit :D

Sand Devil?? I knew there was a reason for sand under swimsuit after a long day at the beach!

Anyway.. is that a Heileen background? What did he do to her & Juliet sparring?

Yes the BG is from Heileen 2. I think there's nothing bad in re-using existing art I've commissioned from other games, of course for some specific scenes. Help contains the cost (so I can maybe add some extra bonus CG at the end...) and faster development (each BG would take minimum 1 week to make).

Hehe, I wasn't trying to imply that there would be something bad in reusing it. It goes remarkably well together with Sand Devil. Just wanted to ask because it looked familiar (Juliet & Heileen are missing that seagull, though.... I just checked mah Heileen 3... probably a slightly different crop) and because I'm a landscape/background nut. :P

Haha yes also that game used 4:3, while SOTW (as my more recent ones) use 16:9. Luckily I have the BGs always at higher resolutions :)
