I guess there's no stopping that Ward from being cast... or is he hasted?

If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

I believe you'll be fine - at least he's only able to act once before your party, not 4 times before the party members of everyone else :D

Haha yes, anyway the enemies are two less than you. I managed to win in Nightmare with my party but was a tough battle, you have to use your casters differently (to heal/buff etc instead of attacking since you won't do much damage with spells).

Re: Art thread
I just commissioned from another artist (since the current one is busy with other stuff and probably couldn't finish in time) some bonus CG for the various different endings. They're all great, artist showed me 3 sketches for each ending to choose, I'll probably include that sketch in the bonus content section once the game is finished
so you can see the other two and come here posting "you fool you picked the wrong ones!!"

Re: Art thread
As long as we'll get to see all of them, even if some of them are in the sketch-form, I won't be complaining!
(They are bonuses, hello!)
Regarding that dark wizard. I just looked at the turn roster on the right and he doesn't look that overpowered by speed. Knowing nothing about the attacks of 2/3 of the demons, I'm not terribly worried about this fight yet, lol. I might change my mind once I get to that, though. Anyways.... my Althea would probably be hunter, so elemental shield doesn't really stop her. Where's Riley, though? You gotta use Riley more!
(high speed and low HP, that wizard does not enjoy long fights on the beach!)

Re: Art thread
I believe the turn list is ordered assuming each character will repeat its previous action. It's a correct prediction for your next turn, but not the turn after that (until you have taken that "next turn"). That screenshot is obviously from the very start of the fight so the turn list is probably even less representative.
238 speed could even be considered a waste. A 12 delay skill doesn't benefit from more than 190 speed for example, and you don't usually see delays get much larger than that. But it's a little buffer against slows and it definitely lets him act first, so there's no stopping that Ward if he's programmed to use it immediately. That's what was the most eyecatching about it.
P.S. Dark Wizard - Class: Thief? wut

Re: Art thread
Actually the turn prediction is using a recently weighted average to predict the delay of your next action. So it does depend on all your actions, but the more recent ones have more weight.

Re: Art thread
The 238 is derived by the Nightmare calculations, I just put a high value, but yes most of it will be "wasted". I've also correctly changed his class to Mage
The real danger is not his speed but the Ward he casts and a mix of healing and damaging spells. But even the other demons are tough. That's why I only put 4 opponents

Re: Art thread

coded a sort of Naval Warfare minigame. Very simple but interesting. Each turn you can choose if to close in, and then a battle with ALL the remaining pirates will begin (if are more than 6 will come in waves) otherwise if you keep the distance you can attack the pirates with long-range and magic and they won't retaliate directly your party but fire cannons that will damage the ship. If they sink your ship=game over
It's one of the many minigames/interesting ideas by the writer, this time I managed to implement it as intended (in the past had to give up some because was too difficult to implement them).
