I've moved around spaces for regen for a long time with this party and that has only happened twice. So I don't know about it being reliably reproducible. If it happens again I'll see.

When I hit an enemy with the ice flask, I get the 10 turns of frozen on it, if I'm Hiding in the Shadows. Otherwise, it's 5. The skill description doesn't mention that Ice flask/frozen duration would be affected by HiS. http://oi57.tinypic.com/slgv2d.jpg

The duration of the effect is based on the power, so because you get double power the duration is twice (10 is the maximum in any case). I am not sure how to describe this, since is not a thing specific of that skill but of the game general rules. Maybe in the tutorial...

found it myself - and unrelated to the difficulty itself. The Big Chance was with 0.8.5: less attribute points.

On level 4 to 5 one fights against the cruel spider-queen and Mormont - 6 instead of 9 points mean, with my normal leveling distribution, 15-20 less HP (fighters) or SP (druid) and the primary attack is 6-8 points lower. As NM was not affected by the change yayswords wasn't able to see a difference :)

Ah yes right. Lol I completely forgot about that change but was quite important for non-Nightmare difficulty :)

0.8.7c is in "normal" easier again, but I think it's fine - especially as 0.8.6a-0.8.7b were a little bit on the hard side (though my perception may be tainted after a bajillion play-throughs :))

Not sure if anyone's pointed this out before, but when Vaelis says "For less money than she bought me from the slavers. A strange crone, that one.." I think there's meant to be a full ellipsis?

And, just a suggestion for the Master of the Pits dialogue, maybe it would be more appropriate for him to say something like "Lord Yeldrin will risk no more seasoned fighters. He's teaming you up with these three newbies."

When fighting the pack of animals near Ninim, should Althea say "Or better before someone hunts them first and claims their pelts." or should she say, "Or better yet, before someone else hunts them first and claims their pelts." I'm not sure which angle she's coming from.

Yes it should be easier indeed, and I think is better :)

One more correction: at the graveyard, one of the siblings says 'That's the most silly battle cry I've ever heard.' I think that should be 'silliest'.
