jack1974 wrote:Yes this is partly why I've taken more time on SOTW. When I noticed there was really no hope for Loren sequels to be out soon, I decided was worth spending more time on this one. In theory before Loren 2 I also should finish Planet Stronghold 2... Anyways, they'll be all out, but I don't want to rush things anymore since after all is normal for indie RPGs to take 2-3 years of work! And between each RPG release I also do dating/life sim, so... :)
wow ur productive. ^__^ but it was nice while it lasted. ^__^ all of them reached level 6 (normal mode) ~ im too lazy to play anything harder.

The coding continues... this is the last boss fight before the bathhouse scene :)

added a new skill which is quite nasty: a fire damage shield, that also adds the burning condition to any melee attacker. Even if is a lone mob, this guy is tough

Druid skill. ;)

You know, one solution to the "I don't have any air environments" problem would be to add a number of bosses or mobs that are weak to air. That way the key mob resistance might cancel out the lack of an environmental bonus. Also, perhaps a moderate climate (not desert, not icy north) could just have air weakness, though I don't know how many of those you are planning to have.

During the last act, the "journey home", there are more variety of scenery (most sidequests and map battles) so for sure I can use Air environment there. But yes even doing some boss mobs weak to Air could be a good idea :)

Today finished coding Chalassa's personal quest. Now I'm at chapter 13, the last of second act!!! Then after I finish this, I'll need to add Dingirra's map, various shops, and test everything a bit so that all the stuff I worked in the past month doesn't break up

"A small game" ROFL the best joke of the year. Is the biggest game I've ever made!!! though I must say I'm quite proud of it so far.

Anyone else remember the first beta back in April had a note saying the rest of the game would be ready in a couple months...?

I don't think I ever said the rest would be ready in a couple of months! Anyway, even if I said that, consider that the first act betatesting kept me busy for a whole month tweaking (something I didn't do for Loren, max 1-2 weeks of tweaks if I remember well), during which made no progress on Act 2... :) Still I greatly underestimated this project scope, and now I wish I didn't do any extra sidequests, since just the main plot is already big!
