I got at the Gamesh palace some symbol (a Lotus flower?) and the giver said I will not attacked by Gamesh' mercs. He lied to me, though...

Ah wow 6 regenyayswords wrote: I'm gonna regret saying this but, the Trinkets 'n' Treasures shop is a bit...
Well, I go from basically not ever finding any regen items (elsewhere in the game), to seeing jewelry here with up to 6 regen. Casino could be very rewarding here. The weapon selection is a bit limited but I've picked up two 5 HPR flails for my ranger too.
I think might be some video driver issue ? I mean in map OK can be slower, but even outside that is not normal. Normally is a problem with outdated OpenGL / DirectX drivers. When the game is running you can try pressing Shift+G and choose DirectX renderer (you probably will need to update the drivers).yayswords wrote: Also my FPS kinda sucks everywhere.
Ah no, it shouldn't happen. I mean, before going out their district. Once you change the map, if you go back again then yes is normal that they attack. So they actually attacked you on your way out the area?renke_ wrote:I got at the Gamesh palace some symbol (a Lotus flower?) and the giver said I will not attacked by Gamesh' mercs. Oh it was rare, not exactly something I found just walking by. But when I remembered rare items could have regen I started rolling the slot machines.
Also. Chalassa's skills do the same damage to a 32 defense target as to a 75 defense target. With normal damage weapons, so no resistances involved. I'm sad
Playing around with DirectX did not help my FPS BTW. Probably made it worse actually.

If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

A repeated bug from the first Act. Explosive bombs can be thrown at baddies in the back row again, although they are not supposed to according to their description. Ohh the temptation to fry those backrow healers..........

they attacked while I tried to leave the Gamesh area.jack1974 wrote:Ah no, it shouldn't happen. I mean, before going out their district. Once you change the map, if you go back again then yes is normal that they attack. So they actually attacked you on your way out the area?
but anyway, my current problem is a dead-end: I cannot leave the Lugal territory - available markes are palace (already visited) and two groups of mercs.

Re: SOTW 0.8.12 - Second Act Beta!
renke, you have to beat the two groups, then the green arrow will appear. Been there, it's doable even in the NM-mode
EDIT: I ran into the same/similar error as Themobboss did in the steam tunnels, but with version 0.8.12.
I was attacked by the first group of lizardmen (2) and Krimm just delivered a kick. Continuing the fight with the ignore-button seems to have worked so far....

ah, found it somewhere here - one has to fight all battles in this map. not sure if I like it, feels more like enforcing a longer game as unaware players have to reload mor often...
PS thanks fabulaparva, wrote the above reply while you answered

Yes this last thing is not a bug at least
Happens only for the Lugal BTW, to make them different from the others.
the values should depend on the item level.
As for the FPS, what is your computer specs ?
Yes I tried and was rare indeed. The only thing I want to fix indeed is the amount. A +6 regen weapon at level 7-8 is a bit too muchyayswords wrote:Oh it was rare, not exactly something I found just walking by. But when I remembered rare items could have regen I started rolling the slot machines.
Hmm that shouldn't happen, though depend which skill are you talking about ?yayswords wrote:Also. Chalassa's skills do the same damage to a 32 defense target as to a 75 defense target. With normal damage weapons, so no resistances involved. I'm sad

Re: SOTW 0.8.12 - Second Act Beta!
It's for ranged attack, aimed shot and bleeding strike (ranged does less than the other two, but the point is the damage of each skill is the same as I switch targets). And probably for other attacks if I had them.
I think I might have some driver issue, so hold on a bit with the FPS problem. My computer isn't a NASA machine but it should handle your game fine if I can play WoW and record a 25 man raid at full resolution and 30 FPS. My software hasn't checked for updates for 3 months I just noticed now, and while I doubt that I need newer drivers to solve this, the fact it doesn't complete an update check when I request one (normally it should even do them daily and automatically) makes me think something is wrong with it.

Re: SOTW 0.8.12 - Second Act Beta!
My Impressions so far:
Strange crash at the switch from winter to spring, but this should be fixed (was playing with 0.8.10) by now.
Other than that, I did not notice any bugs; not even typos. I have not yet finished spring, however. I see a number of reports in the forum, but not in the game myself.
Regarding balancing: I am playing "normal", and it seems harder than Loren at "hard". It even seems harder than what I remember from the early beta (0.7.x). The winter seems a bit harder than before, but spring is quite hard; and quests like "deliver the messages to the four houses" need both luck and reloading so they can be done.
