I hope it was clear I made it up :P
If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

Just got the first version of the new AI. I'm going to make some experiments now

Haha well good AI the hardest thing to do in a game. Let's say that some enemies will be less dumb  also, that you can expect enemies that debuff your party, something that was never happening before. Or combo of buffer/debuffer, or an enemy checking who has the highest Attack and cast a debuff spell on him/her, and so on.

The new AI rulez 8) is still not finished but already now is great to use. Of course I'm not making uber enemies since wouldn't make sense now, but I want to improve some of the 4 family enemies. Each one can use their special items, like the poison from the Kiduu, or the Armor Oil from Lugal, and so on. Of course, the chances of them using the items is very small (in particular the poison one!!).
Also now they don't use buffs if they have already it. They heal better, and some can hit repeatedly the Mage with lowest HP, like they want him dead  Gamesh Crossbowmen use take aim and then barrage to deliver strong AOE damage.
Anyway, as I said, they're still beatable, so they're smarter but I don't believe the difficulty increased that much since the base stats are those, so they aren't more powerful, just less dumb

Was hoping to upload a new update this weekend with the final tileset, though I've not heard back yet from artist :(

Nice its always more satisfying to massacre enemies that actually feel like they're fighting back

I assume the chance of using special items is higher on Nightmare? ;)

Ah that could be an addition to the system indeed, some actions unlocking only at a certain difficulty. Will suggest this to Anima when he gets back to it :)

The weirdest thing just happened. I hit healing prayer on my ranger and it shows that HPs should go up by 45, but after hitting it they go up by only 15. v0.8.22.3, act 1, first ratmen fight. Battle log says increased by 45, but my ranger's HP is at 18. :P

I can send you a pre-battle and a middle-of-battle save if you need them.
