Lugal banners disappear from the map once I've fought with the troops at the palace (during the Invitations quest) . This didn't happen in the Gamesh territory.

I can't find Jariel in v0.8.24.1 He used to reside between the neutral and market districts, but now I can't find him in any area.

I have replayed 3 times now and each time no Jariel, but later on get the invitation like we know him.fabulaparva wrote:I can't find Jariel in v0.8.24.1 He used to reside between the neutral and market districts, but now I can't find him in any area.
In these cases I repeatedly looked for Jariel, and tried doing or not doing various things like exploring regions before you would normally meet him, but each time no Jariel.
Something I find curious and not logical, in the five elements fight, before the switch (on 2 occasions) I have taken out Air and severely damaged Water, after the switch all the element characters seem reset, Air at full HP & SP, the same for Water, and I don't remember seeing any conditions of the elements lasting beyond the switch, while they do for the player party.
And then something less useful, in one fight (unfortunately I don't remember which I thought one og the family mercs) I saw the opponents healing before any blow was struck.

Re: SOTW 0.8.24.2 - Second Act Beta!
Time for a stupid question!
What exactly is a Boss fight? For example, both the Mysterious Assassin and the Blades of the Moon are tagged as "Boss Fight" before you review your party setup, but none of the fighters are tagged as "Boss" and one can use paralyzing etc non-boss-effective skills on them. I'm not asking this to plead that you'd make them any harder (the Assassin without a healer in your party -read: without Purification- is plenty nightmarish even when he's not "really" a Boss), I just find it a bit confusing to have the same tag denote tough battles on one hand and enemies that you can't use certain skills on on the other.
