Seems pretty unstable if used with previous version saves (.15 or Act 1 .16). The main map screens load in both acts, but dungeons don't. I did get some beginning-of fight screens to load, but they all throw me out sooner or later: sometimes after the party setup before the actual fight begins and sometimes after the fight finishes. Most of the dialogue and decision/choice saves do not load.
I'll start from scratch once I'll get to down this newest version properly.

Hmm yes, if I finish that Lugal merc fight I get kicked out after proceeding past the lootz.

Also can't get past battle setup screen for Yeldin :P

Loads and works, not synonymous.

Yes was about to post that, load doesn't necessarily means will work later :oops:
When you replay save in several points and if you want also try to reload sometimes, but it should 100% work (it never happened before that you couldn't load saves from the same framework version!).

Just FYI. This weird graphics/battle bug in v0.8.24.17 was an accidental find. They'll still hit the tiger like they should, but moving the cursor around and between the melee and ranged-attack options and the tiger will project the dmg estimate on the wrong slot. No crashes and battle won in the end like usual. :P

I think this might be some side-effect of using the new Ren'Py framework, will check it. The main code should work the same but there could be some visual artifacts like that one :) thanks

This isn't exactly beta feedback, but the pictures and text on the preorder page don't really match. For example, you talk about the new isometric map in a paragraph below the picture showing it off. Likewise, the skills and attributes and party member discussion comes after all the character screens.

Ah yes I need to get back to that page once the game is finished, I also want to put some more screenshots showing other maps. I put that together shortly after I coded the 1st act only :)

Inventory screen is glitchy outside of shops. If I choose Vaelis and then click on any equipment slot, it'll switch from Vaelis to the main twin.

EDIT: I went back in time, ie loaded an earlier save and now the glitch doesn't happen. quite weird.
