Here that works fine (just tried with all the characters several times), and I don't think the new framework could change the game that way! :)

edit: I got your save. It might be just a very random thing, indeed after the first click, it works. For now not going to investigate this, I think probably this bug was there since long time, but as said is not a big problem, you only need to click again on Vaelis portraits :)

I've found a really weird bug during battle - I'll select an enemy, and when I hover over any one of attack options, the red splatter and estimated damage will flash on the target, but then flick over to a different spot!

Eg. The Giant Snowspider Quest

The giant spider is the centre, front row, but when the damage estimate will actually show up top back row. All the damage is still dealt properly when I choose my attack, so that's okay. It also seems a bit random - sometimes everything is fine, other times I get this bug.

But besides that, I love this game!

Yes is one of the new side-effect of using the updated framework :(
Also I found again fabula's bug in a shop, and is basically impossible to choose that slot for that character. This will be very fun to debug, since before was working fine... SIGH :(

edit: OK the char swap in inventory was a side-effect of a fix I put ages ago, because was showing by default a character that could have been not in party anymore (in early ACT1 Vaelis leaves, and if was the last selected char in inventory you could still equip him). Removing that line makes everything work normally, so at least I know what's causing it.

For the other random damage prediction, I spotted it too, but is really strange, I am not sure why does that. This one will be harder to fix I think! Also because doesn't always happens. It was happening, so I saved the game, but when I reloaded that save, was working fine even trying 100 times. So... uhm :o

Yeah the prediction placement bug is weird. Like I can just click a target and hover over my attacks over and over and sometimes they will appear on the monster and sometimes in the corner.

Game is faster though <3

Okay, inventory bugs galore this build I guess...

From Mormont I got a staff that was better than the starting one. Pretty much every stat was +something. But it required level 5 and I was level 4. Now I'm 5 but that staff has turned into crap :( it used to be 9 damage and more stats everywhere, now it's 6 damage and almost no changed stats at all. I have reloaded but not played any casino.

Wait so you mean that you looted a staff, and then the same staff transformed into a crappy one? if is a bug, that could happen only when reloading a save. But it should happen with all items so should be simple to reproduce... I'm going to try now.

edit: OK I tried with some items I bought in stores and works. I am not sure why that happened honestly... looted items aren't different from the ones bought in stores. Unless is that specific Mormont Staff that was defined differently.

Yes. I even admired the staff in my bags sometime between looting it and dinging level 5, and it hadn't changed then. I don't have any save from before the stats changed though. And it's seemingly not as easy as just reloading a save to reroll it :(

Frankly, the shitstick it has turned into is worse than any staff I've ever seen Mormont drop. I'm pretty sure his staves have always been better than the druid starting staff. But it's still a level 5 fine item.

Well I just asked Ren'Py coder help regarding the hover bug because is really crazy, there's no valid explanation for it - the code is unchanged, yet the behavior changes RANDOMLY. WTF

Has something changed in regards to the poison dmg that the Kiduu Pikeman can inflict or have I just paid to no attention to this before? They inflicted 33HP poison damage per turn against Vaelis (who has 27% poison res) with sweeping strike. I don't remember this kind of damage from earlier.
